starryfish
Can we send McGarry back to New Zealand? 1 Link to comment
Big Hat Logan
The back four juggernaut will continue. Steamroll them 4-0. Miovski hat trick, his third goal a back heel from 20 yards. The fourth scored by Barron leading to multiple meltdowns on here about his contact situation. Saints to hit the post and some posters to claim we almost lost and lose their minds. 3 Link to comment

He's definitely improving and hopefully continues but far from excellent for me. 2 1 Link to comment

That box to box role suits him and he’s adapted his game since he arrived, positively. Think his passing is good too and much improved. Really like the loon as a player. we all see things differently though! 1 Link to comment

He could have spat the dummy when Ramirez went but he chose to fight for his career and he’s come on leaps and bounds. I genuinely think if he stays at the club he’s a future captain. 1 Link to comment

Was a timid loon when he arrived. He’s worked hard to get the Scottish game… can’t see him being dropped against the farmers and hope he isn’t Link to comment
Don_Corleone
Reckon he'll go unchanged... Roos Devlin Rubezic Gartenman MacKenzie Barron Shinnie McGrath Clarkson Polvara Miovski Personally I'd like to see... Roos Devlin Rubezic Jensen MacKenzie Barron Polvara McGrath Clarkson Duk Miovski Expect it to be the usual grim game against St Johnstone with 1 goal winning it for either side. If we try to play football we'll win, but if we resort to kick and chase we'll lose. I'd expect Levein's Saints to be well organised, hard working and terrible to watch (as they are under any manager to be fair). Â 1 Link to comment

Pretty sure he'd hold his ground in that situation now. He's been our most improved player this season I'd say. Potentially our only improved player which is a sad indictment on the quality of coaching 🤣 Link to comment

WesthillWanderersFC
Wind/rain/Levein’s St Johnstone/Robson’s Aberdeen. All the ingredients for a thriller 😂 0-0 or 1-0 either way. It'll probably be an unchanged starting X1, but I’d bring in Jensen & Duk for Gartenmann & Shinnie.          Roos. Devlin Ruby Jensen MacKenzie.        Barron Polvara       McGrath Clarkson Duk.           Miovski 2 Link to comment
zeroisgod76
Don't think Robson will be able to resist switching back to a back 5 for this one. He's had 2 games in a row with a back 4 and he won't be liking it. So 5 at the back, shockingly bad long ball tactics again and a 0-1 loss. Link to comment

Maybe even Morris, although it's hard to tell. 1 Link to comment

Polvara has improved too, but he was shite last season Link to comment

I'm not knocking his improvement, it's great to see and I really hope it continues and he seems to have the type of attitude that gives him a right good chance. For me, he lacks a fair bit of composure in the final third. Just watch his end passing or shooting if we've got a good opportunity. His passing is also a bit suspect, usually due to falling over when passing. However, decent in the air, good at times tracking back and ok in the tackle. 1 Link to comment

TheRedPrawcess
Back 4, third clean sheet on the bounce and cement that formation for the rest of the season. Link to comment
Oregon Red
we are all talking about back 4. We have been here before and ole Barry changed back to 5. THats what he will do against The Fermers. A 2-1 loss Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Two wins and two clean sheets with the back 4 albeit against limited opposition. Can't see him changing to a back 5 for the next one.  Link to comment

Ten Caat
Agree he'll stick with a back 4. Can't see us winning this one, although to be fair, can't see us losing either. 1-1Â Link to comment
Snelders Snottters 89
Lose on Wednesday & if Farts win we can tottaly rule out 3rd! So I think more hope that it'll be a 0-2 win. Link to comment

Would consider trying McGarry again instead of McKenzie though. Duk should offer us much more from wide than we had last Friday night. Edit - Just noticed you had Morris starting, he is absolutely awful, no way should Clarkson be dropped for him. Link to comment

I'd go Morris and Duk with the aim of stretching the play and having a wide man to receive the ball. Ok with any alternatives if Morris is not the best option but want a change from the five central midfielders central midfielding. Also, cant have every player starting every game and we are playing every midweek these days. If our best XI is the Clyde team then we'd want that at Tynecastle so would make sense to shuffle 2-3 here, no? Link to comment
