That pitch is inevitably going to need money spent on it in the summer (quite possibly at the instruction of governing bodies) which will eat into their budget. Combine that with the fact they apparently have 11 loan players on the books (eight starting today I believe) and announced 2.8m in losses recently. They could easily be looking at a relegation battle next season. Might be wise for Doc to angle a move while his stock is high. 1 Link to comment
