Who’s to say that wouldn’t have been the winner? No idea how the game would have played out but we were cheated regardless. Club should 100% be calling it out

The club have asked for the footage. They aren’t happy. So will await the findings if they even get the footage.

💯 agree, in recent times Huns and st Mirren scored a penalty against us in the 90min to equalise and ended up winning in 90mins

If we made it 3-3 at that stage in all likelihood we probably would have sat back then shat ourselves and lost before pens. This is the dons we are talking about.

But an explanation should still be demanded

Wow just saw it back and it is the ref and not VAR that called the foul.  He waited for ages.

Is it because they've been told not to immediately call fouls in the box, and then let VAR intervene if a goal is scored?

Big screen at Hampden defintiely said otherwise.

The SFA don't take kindly to anyone daring to break kayfabe

Ultimately that's all we're left with now

Kayfabe staged events that demand the suspension of disbelief

Media commentary and officials all in on it as a commercial spectacle

We have a collection of spineless clubs.

Aberdeen FC should be leading the charge for independent officials and accountability, but instead... nada.

Nothing will change.

The end.

Nae evidence to show that would have happened at all min. We hardly shat it.

Both completely unlawful and wrong decisions were made at the time we were well in the ascendancy.

Aye, there's been a huge fuss in the media down in England over the Luton fan being on var in the Everton v Forest game.

Yet there's a complete blind eye when it comes to the shit that goes on up here. They could have an absolute field day

Even when the Shinnie/Baldwin incident happened last season and was duly highlighted on Sky Sports Ref Watch, that brainless clown Stephen Warnock said it was a merited red card.

Get yourself to fuck.

I have such a lengthy list of evidence of us shitting ourselves that I’m going to need a full 6 months to compile this dossier.

It will be on your desk in October

If they deem it to be a free kick then fair enough.  But it is the referee's actions which are hugely concerning, rather than the decision itself.

He has manipulated the laws of the game in a cynical and deliberate manner, in order to deny VAR the opportunity to review the attacking phase and assess what the correct decision should be (whether that be free kick or penalty).

This is clearly evidenced by the amount of time that elapsed between the free kick incident and him blowing his whistle, which indicates there was at least some level of doubt in his mind. Why no doubt 7/8 seconds later?

Why not allow VAR to perform the function for which it was intended?  Answer - because, whilst there were no guarantees, it may have resulted in a penalty. By needlessly awarding a free kick, he guarantees no penalty.

Good man👍. It'll give me time to save up for a magnifying glass with accompanying light (bloody expensive things) to read your findings min.

Refs here would just say they support lower league teams if they had to state who they support like they do in England.

One of the main issues is that rangers and Celtic (mostly rangers IMO) are so ingrained in the fabric at every level and facet of Scottish football and the Scottish media it’s impossible to get rid of any bias or favouritism.

People mewling about AFC not going mental about things know this fine well though. As long as we can still get a points deduction and relegated I would say it’s no wonder the club hasn’t said much.

Aye there would be a lot of Clyde fans amongst our refs if that was the case.

Would have been difficult for Bobby Madden to justify his Ibrox season ticket though.

They do gave to declare who they support but there is nothing to stop them lying like a couple have admitted to.

Steve Conroy said he supported Dumbarton so he would get to ref Celtic matches.

Realistically it doesn't matter a fuck who the refs claim they support, if the clubs actually unionised and insisted on independent refs then no Scottish ref would be officiating a top flight Scottish game again.
