Statistically you would expect Roos to guess the correct side more often. It makes me think he goes to early.

It’s a lottery. Study players pens (not exactly easy as you don’t have a lot of material to work from in some cases) so just pick a side & stick to it. 
waiting to see where they’re putting it is a high risk if they hit it well. 
pick a side but be prepared to leave a foot high in case they choose middle 🤷 keepers canny get slaughtered too much at penalties cos they’re complete underdogs & can only really be heroes. See Hart. Hero when he really should have been zero.
