Also a few other dodgy ones in there too, Ronaldo is good but there are better players than him in the world, also why is Riquelme not in the top 10, he is one of the best midfielders on the go at the moment. Guest CAPSLOCK
I THINK YOU'D STRUGGLE TO FIND MANY PLAYERS THAT HAD A BETTER YEAR THAN RONALDO LAST SEASON. WHEREAS RONALDINHO IMO HAD A STINKER. RIO FERDINAND, HARGREAVES AND LAMPARD HOWEVER... MEH. Link to comment

vanderark14
the fact that Gattuso and Riquelme are ranked lower than Lampard, Terry, Ferdinand, Kolo Toure and Owen show that the list is completely bollocks. Link to comment

paulkaneatemyhamster
Surprised Vidic is not higher than Ferdinand to be fair to Cashley Cole - he was a regualr first choice last season - Zambrotta was not Ibrohimivic is a top top player - 4 consecutive league titles says it all. Terry is a very good centre back i wonder how many folk actually SAW riquleme play for boca last season there are STILL very few left wingers as good as Ryan Giggs the fact there are very few quality players not on the list suggests it's pretty much spot on Link to comment

Drew Peacock
Ibrohimivic is a top top player - 4 consecutive league titles says it all. Agree to disagree. I've seen him score a couple of great goals, but having watched him closely throughout several games, its clear to me that he's not a "top, top" player. Link to comment

I'm sure many folk would rather him in their team than say.... Frank Lumpalard. I'm not disagreeing, just noticed that some folks like complaining but don't offer alternative suggestions. I'd second the inclusion of Raul, his role has changed in recent seasons and he's a better all round player for it. Link to comment
The Hobbit
Afonso Alves, The top goal scorer in Europe last year is missing, Roy McKaay, Alexander Frei, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Lucas Podolski. I could go on but I wont because it's all opinion. I guess their criteria is 1) Must play in the EPL 2) Any other league sky sports covers extensively. Link to comment

vanderark14
Gattuso IMO should at the very least be top ten. one of the top performers in the 2 biggest tournaments in the world last year. in which he won winners medals in both. Link to comment
The Proclaimer
Random choice, and I don't know myself if he's good enough for the top 100, but Mikel Arteta is a brilliant player IMO. Link to comment

Agree Bilbo - particularly with Bastian Schweinsteiger. I'd also like to add Royston Drenthe into the mix - saw him a couple of times in the last year or so and i've been very impressed.
