aye, I should have warned you last night when you said you had it to watch. Watched it about a month ago. Absolute (Steve) tosh.

honestly, I feel robbed of two hours of my life. absolute drivel. I mind seeing the training and saying to the wife "that looks good". for once she was right! got the latest mummy movie for my second film. that doesn't look great either.

Yeah that's strange cause i saw the trailer for Tropic Thunder and thought it looked good too. I haven't actually seen it but my mate went to the pics to see it and also said it was utter sh*te, and him and me have got similar movie tastes too.

So thanks guys for saving me the bother of watching it :thumbup1:

Just watched 'Body of Lies' with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.

Thought it was excellent. I honestly think Russell Crowe is one of the best actors of his generation. He's always excellent in every movie I've seen him in. The great thing about him is that he is not typecast and no matter what type of role he plays, he plays it as good as anyone could do. Whether it be an understated role like in this movie (Body of Lies) or more dramatic like Gladiator and LA Confidential. The guy is one of the best imo. A c**t in real life I'm sure, but a brilliant actor.

Saying that, it was also a good performance by 'King of the World' DiCaprio. Well worth a watch.

Absolutely. He and DiCaprio just don't give bad performances or appear in anything less than 8/10 films.

He can come across as a 'c**t' or not get as much recognition (Cindarella Man was criminally underrated) as he doesn't play the game. No fake smiles for the camera or attending premieres he has nothing to do with. If feels like buggering off and making a pub rock album with his band or twatting a reporter he will. Reckless, but you see a real person, unlike 99% of Hollywood actors.

Tropic Thunder was alright. It wasn't terrible, just very misleading from what the trailers provided.

Watch Hot Shots Part Deux instead :applause:

Let's face it, once you've seen dumb and dumber no movie is ever going to be funny again. But after watching tropic thunder i did a quick google expecting the film to have been universaly slagged off, but it actually gets decent review. Very strange.

Now you're talking, amazing film:

"Pullover"

"No it's a cardie, but thanks for noticing"

:hysterical:

The Terminator one looks a load of shyte.

Transformers on the other hand look good.

I think terminator will be amazing as will transformers. Loved first transformers. Never a bad thing seeing more of megan fox.

Went to see the new Nicholas Cage film 'Knowing' last night - excellent film!!

Completely and utterly disagree, the first 90 minutes are good (7/10) the last half hour, and I say this having seen Nutty Professor 2, is THEE worst ending to a film I have ever seen in my entire life. What a load of utter garbage.

Terminator looks terrible judging by the trailers.

I saw Quantum of Solace the other day - enjoyed it greatly, as I did Casino Royale. James Bond films are usually too geeky for me, but the last two have followed a fairly safe, solid pattern. Bond is a double hard b*stard, who bowls around, kicking seven shades of sh*t outta the bad boys! SOTR seal of approval!

However, James Bond fans must be raging - the last two bonds have hardly resembled those that preceeded them! The Daniel Craig films have been more along the lines of Jason Bourne/Statham type films - which is probably why I've enjoyed them!
