I started the first season a few years back and hated it. Mainly because it tried so hard to be the UK one. I ploughed through it recently and now nearly finished the 2nd and it's much better once it got out of the shadow of the original.

The US Office is proper class.  series 2 till about 7 is top notch.  One of the funniest programmes ever made in my opinion.  So many great characters.
