Keep on hearing how great Michael Smith is , he has done fuck all to this point though.

They all have amazing practice sessions when they are under no pressure so all just a bit of hype with him possibly.

Anderson keeps on saying how brilliant he is , although , he does have a vested interest.

He's still a young lad. He's still devolving, under good gudiance with Gary.

I hope they don't make a mess of it like they do with the BDO and The Snooker, one hour shown in the evening then highlight package in the middle of the night

Hopefully they don't have the "Bad Nonce Duo" of Vassos Alexander and Tony Green commentating, both utter wanks.

With Bobby George providing analysis of eight players who could have beat him at his peak effortlessly.

His son is a pro player as well

tomorrows premier league we have

Gary Anderson v Michael van Gerwen

big game as its Gary Andersons first and with mvg losing last week another defeat will put him well down

i wouldn't say he's a fucking idiot, he just likes tinkering . He maybe just keeps trying slight adjustments until he finds a set up he's completely satisfied with.

Quite a few of them changing their darts , bit like golfers changing their clubs. If something isn't working for you or you think you can improve , why not?

But it was working for him, 100+ average after 100+ average, massive 180 hitter and looked a real threat, he swaped to a brand new set, longer points on them which meant the way the darts lay on the board he had to constantly move around, there's tinkering and then there's binning darts and going through 12 sets in 3 months

He hasn't won a major yet and realises he isn't just quite at that level. He's constantly looking for improvements , that's all.

This change is the first one that has really been to his detriment.

He might learn more from that. Who knows?

With his last set that was his best chance, it was the darts that was helping him play better, big checkouts and huge scoring that's what wins you matches, he had an 88 average tonight with them, working out with new flights or stems is ok but to go from one set to a completely different one in a week is no use at this level especially in the premier league, he done this two years ago, new set up each week.

The Premier League is a spent force, its pretty dull these days. A few years ago it peaked now its in decline. Needs a complete overhaul.

A few million punters would disagree with you there. Theoretically , this will be the best one yet.

Top ten players statistically and biggest crowds / venues . Unbelievable standard, what more do you want?

All the players want to win this, probably in their top 3 tournaments to win right now due to the standard and the money, with it moving to a week in Holland too it's went up a level, fully expect a week in germany in the next year or two aswell.

This is it, no matter how good he played, he still never crossed that so called winning line and won a big event. so his thinking is that he has been good, but needs to find that little extra to do that.
