Site Sponsor RTYD Posted April 22, 2011 Site Sponsor Share Posted April 22, 2011 http://www.afc.co.uk...2212158_2344450 Great news I'm delighted by this. Clark Robertson too signing a two year extension. I didn't realise the loon was only 17. Nice work Craigie/Willie. Now don't forget who has let us down these past few years. Link to comment

K-9
For me, he is our best player, and think next season, he will more than likely be one of the best in the squad, bringing the game to the other teams, driving forward, bringing others into the game....this for me is someone you CAN (if you choose to!) build a team around.Seconded - great news. And could make us lot of money next summer aswell. Link to comment

Now don't forget who has let us down these past few years. Think it says something when he is the first one signing. The other out of contract players seem to be in a position where they are all shouting for deals, so since this is not part of a 5 player signing on story and Brown has suggested wholesale changes, I can't see many more staying on. I can't really see Brown keeping anyone on out of contract other than perhaps Aluko and Maguire. Link to comment
oilcat
Really happy with this signing! How is Fyvie's injury? Any news on that at all? According to an interview with Simmie, hes back in training and if the U19's had more games left they would have been looking to giving him some playing time in a couple of weeks.......he wont be risked in first team action untill pre season Link to comment

Aluko and Milsom have the same agent so it looks as if he might be easier to deal with than the pr*ck that represents Bebo Link to comment
DieHardDandy
AMAZING NEWS! Totally made up by this! The ginger enforcers will be in the engine room next year! Now to sort the defence... Link to comment

Liam
change of tactics next year maybe with Milsom Folly and Fyvie in the middle? All 3 are very good players, not quite sure who you would leave out Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
Great news - interesting to hear from Mr Brown that there was other SPL interest? f**king pricks like Fearts no doubt - WELL GET IT UP YE - ROB IS OUR WARRIOR. Fyvie and Milsom - sounds like a posh deli. Link to comment
ChookterDon
very pleased with this news! seemingly Aluko wants to stay and has openly said to the press he wants to stay. Link to comment
Jazzer_Bett
-Same agent as Rob, so hopefully he is happy to earn what Rob does. We need the black pearl, he's special. Link to comment

Can't see this one taking off. On topic though, excellent news. Wouldn't say he's been great in recent weeks but he definitely has the potential to be a good player for us. Link to comment

OddJob
Superb news. Yes the Celtic game aside he's not been playing that great but understandable as the team have been total plop, however he looks like a great player on his day and seems to be one of the few players in our squad who is very comfortable with the ball and pulling the strings in midfield. Has to ditch that horrendous free-kick stance though. Here's hoping Pa Broon has more aces up his sleeve Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Fantastic news & the first of the few I really want to sign on for us that were out of contract. The others being Smith, Aluko & Bebo (but only if he can get his finger out more often). Liking the midfield of Fyvie & Milsom great combo of box to box & great vision/passing. A fiery flaming RED pairing. We are the reds, we are the reds, we are we are we are the reds. Ginger hair is now acceptable. I'm bald but if I had hair I'd dye it ginger for next season & I recommend anyone with a good mop to do so. WE ARE THE REDS Link to comment
vanderark14
surprising but very good news. a step in the right direction afc, just keep that path Link to comment
Stoneybloke
Being from the deep south, I didn't expect him to extend his stay, but I suspect he's got a serious buttery addiction now. Good news, though. He's got the potential to be a real influence in the right team. Link to comment
HughMungus
HUGE and brilliant news....hopefully indicative of an exciting close season...anyone notice that it's the close season that get's woor peckers up.? It all goes tits up when the fitba starts.. Link to comment
Ke1t
Usually close season consists of the club dicking around and dicking around, often chasing after one player who clearly isnt particularly interested in joining the club, and then after 6 weeks of f**king the morons who run our club around the player in question will sign for some other club. Then we race around looking for any old pish, a'la Jerel Ifil, to fill a jersey in the least competent manner possible. So, no, close season just gets on my f**king tits. Though you're right in saying it gets worse when the season actually begins. Link to comment
baconman
Very good news. Also great to see CR also sign a 2 year extension. Good youth development and picking up the odd gem will hopefully lead to a decent squad? Link to comment
paulkaneatemyhamster
Glad he's been signed up, with him there, FF & Axel in the middle I'm pleased with our central midfield so far for next season. Perhaps this does give creedence to the PH story, and with Deek on the move does this mean more of a role for young Ryan " Wolf in sheeps clothing" Jack in the central midfield. I hope so, cause he's a good wee player, better suited there than on the wing. perm 2 from Folly, Milson, Jack & Fyvie next season Link to comment
minijc
With a fit Folly and Fyvie we have the perfect midfielder for a 3 in the middle if CB wants to do down that road. Link to comment
Dandyesque
Excellent news and hopefully a statement of intent from Brown and the club. CB has already stated that players will only have so long to sign a deal or they're off - and the first of those has signed already, rather than dicking us around until July to see who else is interested. Hopefully Aluko will follow suit and then we may also find out if Bebo's agent has some genuine offers for his client, or if he sh!ts it and signs on again here. If given a 2-yr deal on significantly more money than we can afford (say Link to comment
Jack_Glass
good news indeed, get smith & aluko signed up and we'll have a little more hope for next season Link to comment
