Byrne Baby Byrne
Had no idea about this. Was paraded as a new signing in a swap deal with Peter Heatherston but big Peter failed his medical so it was scrapped Link to comment
jamiesd
Remember it well, press conference photo shoot etc. Would have been a decent swap deal that also. Link to comment

Could still happen I suppose. Could get him on the free. Perhaps as good back up for Goodwin or as a multi tool up front for Bojan? 1 Link to comment
The Gee Man
No start for McKenna, Ferguson or Ramsay! Clarke is an idiot. Perfect game for definitely Ferguson and Ramsay Link to comment

Perfect game for definitely Ferguson and Ramsay Not too surprising about McKenna as he was injured at Forest missing the last 3 games I think it was. The formation we are playing, I can understand why Ramsay is on the bench. I'm certain he'll get half an hour or so though. The big question is why the fuck is Gilmour starting ahead of Ferguson? Gilmour I think I'm right in saying has had about 10 minutes in total off the bench since he moved to Brighton. Meanwhile Ferguson is thriving in Serie A 1 Link to comment

Ten Caat
According to Shug Keevins, the reason Scotland took the match is that the SFA are contractually obliged with Sky Sports to have the national team play a minimum of 10 matches per calendar year Link to comment

They clearly have a plan on the type of players they are signing, how much money they are willing to spend knowing that they will then sell for good profit, the amount of transfer fees they've taken in over the last few season is extremely good. 1 Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
I’d agree that’s Postecoglu (sp?) plan. But that and Lawell leaving marks a firm divergence from the norm for them. And at the end of the day if he proves too successful at it they’re not going to keep him. Look, just leave me clutching at very thin straws for 1st will you!!! 1 Link to comment
