Every single day I played, weather permitting, soon as I got home and until it got dark. One day we played a team of South East asian chaps, they were well up for it, and it turned into a feisty encounter with tackles flying in everywhere. When we won they were, to put it mildly, raging. One of their pals came tanning round the park in a car, picking some of them up, and the abuse was flying between the two teams, violence was in the air. Before they left, one of the c**ts stole my trainers, brand new, from behind the goals, I was f**kin fizzin Link to comment

It's fair to say we werena calling them 'South East Asian chaps' at the time, but they were highly abusive towards us, and threatening us and allsorts, and giving it the finger drawn across the throat nonsense from the back of the car as they took off. I can understand creepy PM's to potential attackers in a misguided notion that this would reduce the possibility of his ignorance being exposed but does this guy actually want to meet people to "make friends" so that people ignore the frequent times where he posts drivel or is he simply an old fashioned lonely? Taking the bull by the horns and becoming more active is the key to beating it. If you withdraw, it will make your depression more severe. If you take medication, it will make it worse, and possibly even make you suicidal, which is massively contrary to accepted medical wisdom. I should know, I've helped someone very close to me who was depressed to the point of near death very recently. And by the way, it was a joke, you're a (semi) intelligent guy, I thought you might have noticed that. I knew it was semi piss taking so no worries there. The word depression in itself is very misleading. It's not about feeling gloomy all the time anyway. Link to comment

I cannot stress highly enough how important physical activity is to us all. yeah totally. its can be aquite a vain and shallow activity exercise, but you cant underestimate the effect it can have on your confidence. this in turn can determine your job, social circle etc. and all of these contribute to your own happiness.
