Oklahoma 1903
A few people here have asked about that British guy that was in the Wimbledon final and I told them quite firmly he is Scottish trying to explain the whole British when it suits them deal. He can go back to being British again now. Link to comment
zander
Bla bla I don't get all this hype about that it happened once or twice in the early days with him, BBC fairly gave the Scottish a mention today. Link to comment
E-P-K
The boy did good, if he took his break point chances in the second set then it may of been different, although Federer was awesome after the roof came on. Lendl did not win his first slam until his 5th attempt, so there is still plenty time, Link to comment
Sonoftherock
He's a good player just not good enough to beat the top 3. ^ This. Agree with this comment from Tom Fordyce: Murray's brave defeat in the first Wimbledon singles final to feature a British male in 74 years - his fourth painful loss in four Grand Slam finals - came down not to fate or bad luck nor any stage-fright on his behalf. Federer's win in four sets was instead founded on that most simple logic: the best player playing the better tennis for longer will always ultimately prevail. Federer was just better. Think Andy did everything right today - didn't show any nerves at the beginning and really took the game to Federer with some of the most aggressive tennis I've seen him play. Just hope he's able to bounce back from this in time for the US Open. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Lendl did not win his first slam until his 5th attempt, so there is still plenty time, In that respect he has the right man in his corner to get him through this. Lendls victory in the French was even more remarkable as he lost the first two sets! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Icq_aMpm0II&feature=relmfu Link to comment
tup
I can see Murray's arse collapsing under the pressure again. Maybe not today, definitely on Sunday. He's a poof. Link to comment

tup
not sure what your point is. He didn't bottle it. Aye he did. He's a poof. Bawling his eyes out at the end. No doubt a good sook of his mither's pap last night too, if there's any left to sook that is. They're a hideous family. Federer said he disna read papers and had no sympathy for the cunt. He's simply not good enough. Nobody remembers the losers. He's slightly better than Henman, slightly less gay, on account of the fact he's Scottish not English. 1 1 Link to comment

tup
as usual, utter pish from you I watched all of his games at Wimbledon aside from the early rounds. The point stands, he's good, but he's not good enough. And he never will be. When faced with the best, he wilts. It's happened far too many times for it to be a coincidence. He's won 1 set and lost 12 in his grand slam finals. Pathetic. 1 Link to comment

Aye, and you can see it coming in his body language. He disna have the belief that he can do it. So much for Lendl changing him, he's exactly the same as before. He had the chance. He was a break up in the second set. A better player would see that out. I lost count of the number of times he was hitting it straight at Federer during the rallies, he lacked the skill and opportunism of his opponent. The coverage is almost as bad as that of the England football team. I used to quite like Murray. I find myself hating him because of all the sycophancy. Open your eyes you English bastards. He's not good enough. Link to comment
