"Couldn't visit due to cash woes"

How on earth have they got into a situation where they can't afford a flight? Did they spend all the money on treatment?

Could their wonderful fans not have raised enough money to get her over or move him over there? Why was he left in Airdrie, of all places.

I think the money situation and other facts around the whole business seems fishy.

It seems strange that the family of such a very wealthy man have "cash woes" and that he himself died in a (Ironically - given the sevco connection - Catholic) hospice, with provides services for free.

Ricksen's career would surely have made him a multi-millionaire, plus there would have been a life insurance pay out, plus a lot of donations from Orcs and others.

Yet he was in a (free) Catholic hospice in North Lanarkshire (an area he has no connection with?) while his family live abroad and can't afford to fly over?  What is a return ticket?  £150?

Maybe they spent a lot on novel private treatments prior to the terminal phase of the disease?

To be fair to the huns, they gave a hefty donation to the hospice (St Andrews) run by the Sisters of Charity.  Apparently it was fans and also Marco Negri who sent the money,

A sad story anyway.

Calm down and stop looking for conspiracies where there isn't in this case - it wisna over the line and besides what about the obvious hand ball by the St Johnstone player in the box that was not given?

St Johnstone were well beaten.

I know nothing about the story, am certainly not buying the record any way supposedly to enlighten me (and standard pc disclaimer: wouldn’t wish disease on worst enemy etc etc) BUT

Knowing what we do about EBTs it looks suspiciously to me like he’s signed over a scud of cash (either in life or on death) to his first wife to protect the tax position and she’s promptly turned round and divorced him.

How are we still on 305 guests?  Is that normal for the hat or are the huns genuinely that fucking obsessed with wanting to be offended they'll spend a week anonymously browsing a website on the off chance they see a comment they can report to jabba the hun?

Never mind.

More than likely they would really rather be browsing Hivs.net for the comedy meltdown. But as ever, those cunts have slammed it on lockdown.....they always do after a defeat. So said traffic diverts to here to see us moan about Mcinnes and make fun of the dead. Hope they are enjoying it...

Further to the discussion about how Ricksen spent his final time alone in a charity home in Scotland, while his relatives lived abroad, and the curious whereabouts of all his money:

The evening times now reveals that his own mother did not see him once in the last 2 years of his life and also will not attend his funeral.

The reason given is that her husband is ill and needs 24/7 care. maybe so, but you would have though someone else could have stepped in for a few hours, so she can attend her sons funeral (or to visit him as he was dying).

I wonder if he estranged from his family (?) as normally in such circumstances families would close ranks to support each other.
