Apparently he actually failed to meet criteria for Governing Body Endorsement, which is first needed for footballers to get a UK work permit.

 

He had not made an adequate number of full international appearances and could not speak english (the boche helpfully broadcast a subtitled film of him being interviewed in spanish on arrival).

 

The report alleges his application was affected by false documentation and lying on application.

Just had a txt from a Hun with that article - you could feel the seethe.

 

Comments like "a monumental scandal that the Raingurs were relegated" blah, blah, blah.

 

The only comment I'd pick up on is the FACT that Rangers weren't relegated.

Rangers FC died in 2012.

Thing is if it was an admin error by HMRC, why the fuck was it not picked up by the then accountants or the Liquidator of the dead club?

 

For the hundreds of thousands of fees they will have skimmed, you'd have thunk that someone would have looked closely at the detail as that's what they are paid to do.

 

Maybe someone in those firms are in fact Dandies...
