Henry
Do you think Sky slag off their own 'product'? Do they fuck. Link to comment
RAZOR
I think coverage on BT for Scottish games is 10x better than that of Sky. Sky don't appear to really even want to be there. Plus Iain Crocker is a wank. Link to comment
Popular Post Henry
CELTIC will battle an Inter Milan squad tonight that costs over £60million more than their line-up. The Hoops face the San Siro cracks in the Europa League in the first leg of the last 32. But the huge financial gulf between the sides was illustrated in both teams’ weekend league line-ups. Inter’s side that romped to a 4-1 win at Atalanta cost a staggering £73.3m in transfer fees while Celtic’s line-up that eased past St Johnstone cost £13.1m. And Roberto Mancini’s side didn’t even feature the likes of star striker Mauro Icardi, who cost £10m and will replace Podolski tonight. Brazilian midfielder Hernanes was bought for £15m and came on. It highlights how the Parkhead side will need to defy the odds. Here’s the combined transfer fees of their weekend line-ups. INTER MILANSamir Handanovic (Udinese, £10.5m) Hugo Campagnaro (Napoli, end of contract) Juan Jesus (Internacional, £3.3m) Andrea Ranocchai (Genoa, £16m) Davide Santon (Newcastle, loan) Fredy Guarin (Porto, £9m) Gary Medel (Cardiff, £10m) Marcelo Brozovic (D Zagreb, £2.5m loan) Rodrigo Palacio (Genoa, £8.5m) Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern Munich, £13m) Lukas Podolski (Arsenal, £500k, loan). TOTAL: £73.3m CELTICCraig Gordon (Free) Adam Matthews (Cardiff City, end of contract) Virgil van Dijk (Groningen, £2.6m) Jason Denayer (Manchester City, loan) Emilio Izaguirre (Motagua, £650,000) Gary Mackay-Steven (Dundee Utd, £250,000) Stuart Armstrong (Dundee Utd, £1.75m) Scott Brown (Hibs, £4.4m) Nir Bitton (Ashdod, £700,000) Stefan Johansen (Stromsgodset, £2m) Leigh Griffiths (Wolves, £800k) TOTAL: £13.15m I look forward to similar articles from the Daily Record every weekend when Celtic are playing league games. 15 Link to comment

Clydeside_Sheep
Steve McManaman saying on BT Sports last night that Celtic will win the league by 15 points at least. I bet he doesn't even realise how close the league is right now. +1 exactly Bet he would struggle to name even one third of the teams in the current Scottish Premiership. Link to comment
Clydeside_Sheep
I am pleased with the draw, as Roberto says, it means ra sellick will put out a full team and bust a gut for the return leg. Hopefully they will pick up injuries / lose confidence / become fatigued etc before facing us Link to comment
daytripping
Celtic did look good going forward, defence a little ropey, playing way better than earlier in the season though, I think we'll struggle against them. So you don't get pissed off with the summing up just change channel, Premier league darts was on Sky last night, some great games, job done. 1 Link to comment

StandFree1982
The two ex Dundee United boys look the part for Celtic, especially Armstrong who is chipping in with goals. 1 Link to comment

I bet he doesn't even realise how close the league is right now. Why the fuck did they have that wanker in the studio anyways? in fact, why did any of those wankers have to be in the studio? get folk in who actually know something about Scottish football. Almost launched my remote at the tv when he said that, prick. Admitted himself that he hasn't followed the SPFL much this season. Massive assumptions as if Smeltic were already run-away champions. All the more reason to make some headlines next Sunday though! PS: McManawoman, get a haircut you poof! Link to comment
newcastlered
Gives the team the more motivation. The longer the Celtic media love in goes on the less the weegia are paying attention to us whilst we sneak up on them and win the league. Although if we ever did their would be no money spent comparisons in the paper, no credit just the media absolutely beeling and it would be even sweeter. Actually it wouldn't be sweeter but good hungover readings Link to comment
Henry
theyre there to big up celtic, which they did By repeatedly criticising the league they play in? Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Correct. We won't win the league on the 1st March, but we could make it a helluva lot more interesting. Deila's response would be key if their heads dropped. If I was a tim which thankfully I'm not any less than 5 pts of a difference going into the split with us to play and I wouldn't be that confident tbh. Link to comment
barassie_afc
Mcmanananaman is a drooling lazy moron, I am not sticking up for Celtic but comments like Celtic should win this out of the park as Inter are struggling were pure pish, conversely no mention of how badly Spurs did v a team that is only 6 points better off.........the 15 point spl comment was the cherry on the cake, for the record Sutton wasnt much better Link to comment
tup
Hope Accies kick some lumps out of them for usThey are shocking and likely to lose about 10-0 on Sunday. 1 Link to comment
StandFree1982
Just one of many things that made my blood boil last night. It's all very well us slagging off the standard of our league, it's a different matter altogether when the Nigels come along and do it. Pricks. "Celtic haven't had much of a challenge this season so will struggle against Inter""Celtic will win the league by 15+ points obviously""Celtic should be beating teams like Inter Milan because they are 10th" <-- which was a Belter. They carried out sectarian killings, however politically motivated it was, therefore supporting them must give some grounds to sectarianism. No? In fact, it's fucking disgusting that this is even being discussed! It's a bloody sport! I can't ever imagine going to watch the Lynx at the beach leisure centre and wondering what their political stance is. Fuck that two fanbases and the clubs that they represent. Link to comment

When my daughters didn't see their old man as just an embarrsibng old man we used to love going to ice hockey. Really good day out. In fact we all learnt to ice skate together (being a Sunday father) to such an extent that we could all go backwards with finesse. Lynx is ace. Link to comment
vanderark14
Rightfully he was totally shot down. I really like Tam Cowan. Cowan is the only one I didn't like from that panel, he said that the clubs shouldn't be held responsible for the actions of their fans which is utter shite. Rangers and celtic could quite easily eradicate sectarian behaviour but the problem is they don't want to, especially the huns. Their club was built on bigotry and hatred and its what's keeps them going. I did however like it when he repeatedly said he is glad he follows a club that doesn't have any political or religious agenda 1 Link to comment
Henry
I don't mind Tam Cowan, but he has repeatedly stated, including last night, that Rangers fans saved their club, complete bollocks to even try to claim that. Link to comment
