oh ffs

CABIN CREEK, WV -When we spoke to neighbors in the small town of Miami, in eastern Kanawha County, no one seemed surprised that 47-year-old Jonnie Boggess was arrested for having sex with his 2-year-old beagle.

One man said, "He has done this before, with animals before, and it's no shock."

At least one, outraged neighbor contacted a local dog rescue group, according to troopers with the West Virginia State Police. Because of that neighbor speaking up, troopers arrested Boggess, who they said, admitted to the crime.

Court documents indicate Boggess said he was drinking that night. He admitted to being "gentle" with the dog, named Piglet. After having intercourse with her, he "petted her", and told her that he loved her.

Boggess told troopers his girlfriend heard Piglet yelping. He told her that he wasn't hurting her. Troopers said Boggess told them he thought it was okay, because the dog was more than 40 pounds and spayed.

Another neighbor said, "It takes a sick mind to do something like that." He said he hopes people don't judge the small town based on this unusual arrest. "That's one person," he said. "Everyone around Cabin Creek is not like that. Just judge him, don't judge us. It's definitely not all of us."

Piglet is in custody of animal control.

Boggess was charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty. Bond was set at $5000 or 10% cash.

He bonded out of jail shortly after his arrest.

He reckoned there's a weight limit above which it's legal to fuck your pets?

Methinks that neighbour protests too much.

He only got caught because the smoke alarm went off after the beagle lit up a post sex cigarette.

Police Say Man with No Hands and No Legs is Armed and on the Run

Authorities in Florida are searching for an armed quadruple amputee who's reportedly been on the run since Tuesday, hoping to question him about his involvement in a double murder.

Sean Petrozzino, 30, reportedly lost his legs, hands and parts of his arms to bacterial meningitis years ago. Police say he moved in with his parents last week after separating from his wife amidst some serious financial issues.

Both of his parents were both found dead Tuesday morning after Sean's mother, Nancy Petrozzino, failed to show up for her job as a schoolteacher.

Sean Petrozzino was last seen on an ATM surveillance camera Tuesday morning. Although police say he's currently a "person of interest" and not an official suspect in the double murder, a spokesperson did caution that he's armed with a gun.

A prosthetics expert told the Orlando Sentinel you don't need a hand to shoot both your parents—just the will—as most guns can apparently be fired by the handless, "without special devices."

i'm appalled. i can't imagine that this would happen in this day and age.

"...a woman who had been in labor at home was picked up by a sheriff, strapped down in the back of an ambulance, taken to a hospital, and forced to have a cesarean she did not want. When this mother later protested what had happened, a court concluded that the woman’s personal constitutional rights “clearly did not outweigh the interests of the State of Florida in preserving the life of the unborn child.”

at what point do fetal rights ever trump the mother's rights?

In Louisiana, a woman who went to the hospital for unexplained vaginal bleeding was locked up for over a year on charges of second-degree murder before medical records revealed she had suffered a miscarriage at 11 to 15 weeks of pregnancy.

In one, a woman was held prisoner at a hospital to prevent her from going home while she appeared to be experiencing a miscarriage. She was forced to undergo a cesarean. Neither the detention nor the surgery prevented the pregnancy loss, but they did keep this mother from caring for her two small children at home. While a state court later found the detention unlawful, the opinion suggested that if the hospital had taken her prisoner later in her pregnancy, its actions might have been permissible.

it makes me sick.

Depends upon circumstances, I think.

What if these women were suffering mental illness and were considered a threat to the lives of their unborn children? From what I've read in the past, anywhere to 1 in 4 to 1 in 5 Americans have some form of diagnosable mental condition... so it's not out of the realms of possibility that there's more to these stories than we're hearing.

I'd also say that the life of an unborn (not a fetus but a late term baby) takes precedence over the temporary liberty of a potentially unbalanced pregnant woman.

It's hard for me to say that, because I'm all about personal freedom and responsibility, but when personal freedom or liberty puts someone else at risk, particularly a child, then there's reason enough (in my mind) to hold someone against their will.

Bear in mind, medical staff usually don't imprison people for shits and giggles... they'd likely have had to have genuine cause for concern before putting themselves at risk of a lawsuit.

what an idiot. take that you greedy bastard

A 39-year-old man who inherited his grandfather's sweet $100-a-month rent deal on a four-bedroom Upper East Side apartment may have blown the whole thing by suing to have the high rise next door torn down, the New York Daily News reports.

Lieberman, who moved in with his grandfather in 2009, and stayed in the apartment after he passed away last year, demanded it be restored to its former condition by eliminating the neighboring building. Seems reasonable.

A judge threw the request out, finding that Lieberman had no standing to sue, as the deal was between the building owner and his grandpa, who knew exactly what he was doing. Even worse for Lieberman—but great for anyone who pays $3,000 for a studio and loves schadenfreude—the lawsuit backfired by reminding the landlord that the rent-control part of the deal also only applied to his grandfather.

http://www.today.com/parents/florida-father-asks-police-supervise-daughters-spanking-1D80400270

With the debate over corporal punishment heating up, some parents who want to spank their children are asking the police to supervise to make sure they won’t get into legal trouble.

A 42-year-old man called the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office in Okeechobee, Florida, on Monday to request that an officer be present when he punished his 12-year-old daughter who had gotten into a violent argument with her sister.

“(He) wanted me to stand by while he spanked her with the paddle… I stood by as (he) spanked (her) 4 times on her buttocks. Since no crime had been committed, this case is closed,” the responding officer wrote in the incident report.

The Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office did not have a spokesperson available on Friday, but Undersheriff Noel Stephen told a local TV station that parents have made similar requests before.

“It happens,” Stephen told WPBF in West Palm Beach. “It’s definitely not something we advertise to do, and even though law enforcement has been willing to help out in this situation, watching a parent discipline their child is something that’s done only when a deputy has no other calls to handle.”

Stephen estimated he has supervised 12 spankings, he told the station.

In Florida, corporal discipline of a child is not considered abuse as long as it’s done by a parent or legal guardian and does not result in harm, according to state law. Indeed, corporal punishment is legal in all 50 states.

The issue was in the spotlight again this fall when Vikings running back Adrian Peterson allegedly used a wooden "switch" to punish his 4-year-old son. In November, Peterson entered a no-contest plea to misdemeanor reckless assault in the case.

really? they have nothing better to do with their time? :omg:
