DD1903
And to think folk wanted butcher as our manager... Link to comment
paddy
I honestly think that had they kept Fenlon they would have been safe. Hibs manager turnaround is a joke. Link to comment
tup
It's their lack of investment in the team that's the issue, not the manager. Link to comment
paddy
They spent £100,000 on that balloon Collins - the hibs Tommy Wright it seems! Link to comment
super_al
They spent £100,000 on that balloon Collins - the hibs Tommy Wright it seems! I believe it was actually 200,000. Link to comment
WA_Don
anyone got a stream of the falkirk qots game? Link to comment
newcastlered
Hibs, aside from Celtic, have probably invested more than anyone in the SPFL of recent years. New training facility, stadium expansion, paying for players (if you can call Collins a 'football player'), paying off their managers on that merry-go-round. Reckon their first team players will all be on a decent wedge to. Link to comment
The Cockney Don
anyone got a stream of the falkirk qots game?just checked wiziwig and vipbox, it`s not listed . 1 Link to comment
Tord31
Butcher is a terrible manager - it was just lucky he was a good 'fit' for Caley Link to comment
the_shrimp
Butcher has ruined Hibs. Fenlon must be laughing. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
It's their lack of investment in the team that's the issue, not the manager. Minus The Rangers and Celtic, they're behind only us, in terms of the wage bill. As others have mention, they've spent a wee bit on transfer fees too. I think they are going down. Players look terrified, completely lost. I don't think they'd beat East Stirling right now. Link to comment
Tord31
the being away first might swing the tie in hamilton's favour (if it was hamilton hibs). Win a one off tie at home for hamilton and they like killie today go to easter road defending a lead my tip to win the playoffs is hamilton quarter final currently 1-1. 3-2 on agg to queens Link to comment
tup
They cashed in bigtime on a number of players and replaced them with shite. Collins was a panic buy, he's dire. Link to comment
King Street Loon
Only reason I'm sad to see Hibs go (if they go) is because it's a good away day. Kilmarnock offer fuck all and are hun sympathizers. Link to comment
Tord31
well they can get relegated next year Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Kilmarnock offer fuck all and are hun sympathizers. Never has the term 'Huns without the bus fare' been so apt. Kilmarnock is an absolute toilet, their fans are absolute minks and this division would be far better without them. 2 Link to comment
tup
Killie have never been relegated since being promoted in the 90's. Link to comment
caledonia
this must be the SFA,s excuse now to bump the huns upie we cant have the huns, hearts and hibs in a lower division lets make the league bigger Link to comment
reidserdandy
Hibs are fucked there going down 100% Falkirk will beat accies then send hibs down hearts will win the championship next season and the huns and hibs will be stuck there Link to comment
newcastlered
It does make things extremely interesting. If sevco go into admin and get deducted points it's not going to be easy for them to get top 2 with hearts, hibs and an absolutely shite team. Hibs going down would be excellent for Scottish football. Link to comment
dervish
Maybe for more than one season... if they last that long. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Why top two? Top 5 will make play off. 25pt deduction and I think they'd be stranded. So guess when the SPL expansion will happen then? Link to comment
TwoStars
Paying money for yon loon Collins (replacement for Thumb) will always be a sore one for the Hibees. New manager for the playoffs I think to give them a much needed boost. Link to comment

It would be ironic that we started last season on minus 15 points and next season we would start on +12 before we kicked a ball if the Hobos went down with us. Link to comment

Anything to take their minds off their impending relegation I suppose. Its pretty funny seeing the reaction from certain teams supporters to yesterdays events. Yes, I'm disappointing to a point but to be honest 2nd and 3rd are just different shades of the same shit. It would have been nice to get a wee bit extra cash but thats about it to me. Winning the trophy was far more important. Link to comment
