aberdeen1970
So 16 players already signed up for next season on that list. 3 goalkeepers and 13 outfield players. The only one not included who has a wee bit of first team experience is Ethan Ross. How many do you think he'll bring in... 5, 6? Link to comment
aberdeen1970
8Including loans and Dom Ball? Link to comment

(I say hopefully...hopefully they just stay but if they do go then we might as well get some money for them) Link to comment

I'd prefer we kept loans to a minimum if we can, we've loaned loads over the last 2 years Link to comment
Proud Dandy
Sadly we need players to at least try to be able to play for 50 games a season... and not 20... Would much rather have McLennan, Wright, McGinn and a new signing of a decent calibre fighting for the winger spots...If a player of the quality of GMS got brought in this summer we would be delighted. We would be foolish not to try and keep him. As others have said he was our best player by a mile up until his injury, we desperately need creativity in the team and they are the hardest players to attract so hopefully he stays. Link to comment

EDIT: His starts aren't much better than McGinn adn McLennan's when you also take in to account GMS was the penalty taker. I don't think it is a coincidence that our best run coincided with him being out of the team. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/niall-mcginn/profil/spieler/68321 https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gary-mackay-steven/profil/spieler/78961 https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/connor-mclennan/profil/spieler/344584 1 Link to comment

He carried us in first half of season & won us (or had a very big hand in winning) the majority of our wins. Then was cheese for second half of season. Who knows why, transfer speculation then injury or just his confidence went (he is very much a confidence player) McLean was always punts for first half of season & good the second half Both players it seems were chalk n cheese in their form timing for us lol Link to comment
