Transfers News For The Inferior Teams

Recommended Posts

Doubt he has too many options. Finished in England and nobody up here bar ourselves, Celtic, sevco, Hearts and Hibs could afford the wage level he is likely to want. Sevco might have been interested  as cover for Defoe/ Morelos had they been able to shift Lafferty out the door but who's gonna want that twunt?

Personally I'd rather we offered Naismith a contract than pursue Wilson but I can see why Wilson might be the preferred choice.....Naismith has no residual value whilst Wilson might (a big might) just make us a bit of cash if he were to do well.

And of course, Naismith is a massive hun fuckwit and anybody seriously suggesting we sign him should be taking their face for a shite.

Doidge is very much a poacher, similar mould to Rooney.

Yes he can score goals, but not what we need.

It will be interesting to see how he does but I can't see him lighting up the league, i was a big fan of McNulty whenever i watched him at Coventry previously and he didn't turn out great.

Why would we not want a poacher who can score goals?

I think that's exactly what we've been missing

Conor Washington incoming.

A £3m player just 3 years ago and pieing Ipswich for us now. Not prolific but a great player around the box. Pacey and aggressive and makes things happen.

Happy with that and feeling better after the wee team's signings today. Which tbf I still think are decent.

Halkett, Washington, Walker, Naismith. A good start to a first XI for next season and an opening day romp. See you soon.
