You read "provided you don't kiss me"? My favourite sports book. Would highly recommend. Will be able to pick it up cheap as chips now too.

Never read that book min.

However, before my macaroni pies started going, I was in the midst of reading Clough's "Nobody Ever Says Thank You" book.

Like you say, I got it for pennies, plus £2.80 delivery, from Amazon.

It is a very good read (I'm sure the rest of the book is as well).

A very good lad, although to be handled with care (loved the Traveling Wilburys).

The woke squad would have got him fired within weeks these days.

You want to live in an age with more racism and sexism, interesting.

I'm just thinking about the number of folk I'd be able to put right and feel superior to.

Do you think Rolf was really guilty? Or just a fall guy as a pal of Saville? Let’s be honest, everyone was pumping minors back then.

interestingly, Attenborough was a director at the BBC in the 70’s, so he would have known about Saville and chose to stay quiet. A scandal in itself.

a quick scan of his Wikipedia, however, notes that his family housed Jewish refugees during the war. So he’s exempt from any criticism.

anyway, Rolf. Probably pumped bairns. But who didn’t (back then)
