Bamber
Similar to TNS game GK Logan Taylor Reynolds Shinnie Hayes Jack Mclean Pawlett Rooney Stockley Not sure on Goalie - Think Brechin will tell us. Subs Other GK Considine, Flood, Shankland, smith, Wright, Storie Link to comment

Bamber
Not Pawlett, surely he's had his chance. Pawlett does ok in Europe besides need his width, youngsters can go in to the second leg when we are 4 or 5 to the good Link to comment
Chewie37
Pawlett will do well in these games and hopefully boost his confidence so that he's pushing for first team and a return to form. Think Bamber probably has the team right apart from thon GK in goal.....who's he?? Link to comment
Mr John
Wasn't there a quote from Craig Brown or someone that Pawlett wasn't fit last season and could be back to his best? We know he can be great, give him a chance. Jack too wasn't as strong last year, hopefully the break has done them good. I'm saying this based on the old adage that form is temporary. Link to comment
zander
What is Pawletts best? we saw a run of 3 or 4 months of real quality just before we won the league cup but he's not came even close to recreating that form since. Link to comment

BWG
Why wasn't he fit?GWT was able to catch him in the shower. A fit Pawlett would have successfully evaded. Link to comment

Mr John
Why wasn't he fit? Long term hamstring injury I think? I'm no medical expert but football pundits are always saying those are difficult to manage. He had a minor ankle problem from one of the European matches last summer and broke his arm in March this year. That German site I keep using to source facts (I know! Crazy right? Facts on the Internet? WTF?) doesn't list it though, so it may be an ongoing condition: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/peter-pawlett/verletzungen/spieler/62170 Factor in that his best positions have been held down regularly by Hayes, McGinn and McLean and you're looking at a patchy last couple of seasons for him. Hopefully he hasn't yet peaked and will more than adequately replace McGinn for a few weeks. Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
I actually thought Pawlett did alright whenever he got a chance last season. Which wasn't very often Link to comment

The dundee dandy
Pawlett is hit or miss. Posted missing most of the last two seasons however he does have a moment of magic under his belt as we have all seen before. Although he does his best to dive, run the ball out of play and be a general arsehole. Maybe he will prove us wrong this season, I certainly hope he does as unlikely as it will happen.
