Aberdeen will create 6 or 7 good chances during the game - if not able to play through Maribor they have signed an option to play long-ball effectively if required. It is all a case of being able to convert some of those chances. Get two of them and it doesn't really matter what Maribor think about themselves, they won't score three.

Is Ash Taylor playing?

would bite your hand off for that many chances and like you say two goals would put us through most likely

Hayes out is obviously a big blow, but not as big as it would have been last season. We have Burns, Storey and Pawlett all capable of stepping in. I'd start Burns.

Pawlett isn't anywhere near good enough to make up for Hayes not playing. Burns and Storey hopefully are though.

Got a good feeling about tonight, so hopefully we can do it! Play like we did in the 1st leg and we have every chance.

I didn't think much of them to be honest, but they will be a different team tonight though. They will likely sit back and spray the ball around for the first 20 mins or so, so we need to have a right go at them and hopefully sneak a goal. The away goal for them is an advantage, but we need to score regardless... so heid first.

Its a worry that we may be one-dimensional without Hayes. We need a big game from McGinn and others in the midfield to step up too. On the plus side, its a chance for someone to make a name for themselves.

We should just go for it imo. We showed at Pittodrie we can make them look very ordinary, although yes teams are different at home (though this is mostly just down to psychological factors for both teams, not footballing ones).

We will probably be brought down to earth again with a thrashing.

then everyone will remember that we have not addressed our defensive concerns

& wonder why the club havent bolstered the obvious deficiencies.

My word. Next time you see your Dr, tell him prozac isn't working and ask his views on euthanasia
