E-P-K
The Hare and Hounds bar in Manchester is ace, a street away from the city centre where the IRA bombed it, literally 100mtrs away from the rejuvinated city centre, but its a red brick classic, shameless type bar. even a couple of deck chairs at the side door so the smokers can blast in comfort. Bluto10
Cheers Bloots/ Mobby. Nae number needed though, I will be with the new bird who frowns upon the mischief but will happily take a jaunt funded by its proceeds.Zaanse Schans is nearby, famous windmill park.Although the Rotterdam one is better. But really you're best just wandering about on a pub crawl, admiring the canals and stuff. Link to comment

reekie_dock
My top tip is to write the name of your hotel down on a bit of paper, I got there pissed and thought my hotel was next to a canal and a bridge, didn't realise that was the same as the whole place, took fucking hours finding my way back, was only till I described the hotel doorman having a top hat to the 50th taxi driver I got back, fucking nightmare. Did the same in Krakow, why go out when you don't know where you're staying????? it's fucking madness. Got an apartment just no far from the sea front, salthill road across the road from an Aquarium so hopefully nae get lost when am full oh the Guinness... Krakow was brutal waking up in a drunk tank was an eye opener. Link to comment

I was there in October last year and best bit of advice would be to buy a transport pass at the airport to coverall the transport modes in Berlin. Worth every penny. Also download the app for the transport system... the public transport is fantastic butconfusing as fuck if you don't get your head around it. Awesome place for a short holiday. Link to comment
