Reed or deed
Thats true both are left footed , drop Considine then or Reynolds ? Shinnie needs to play and i think everyone agrees left back is his position . With the addition of Christie our midfield now looks complete Taylor was murder against Celtic the other weekThanks Derek. Keep up the good work. p.s. and don't go you know where. Link to comment
Lencarl
Ash is playing great at the moment. He will stay at the heart of our defence for the foreseeable. And well deserved, despite what a few folk thought on here weeks ago. Tennis has Stan The Man We have Ash The Bash. Link to comment
muttonhumper
Well that was quite marvellous entertainment. When the fuck was the last time there was 9 goals scored in a league game at Pittodrie? I do recall a 9-0 v Raith in the League Cup mid eighties? A few 8 goal jobs in the league, 4-4, 6-2, 5-3, 8-0.9 may be before my time. . Link to comment
muttonhumper
Looks like it may have been September 1972. Old Division 1. Aberdeen 7 - 2 Motherwell Harper (4)RobbJarvieMurray Dinna think I was at that een. Link to comment

slinkyvagabond
Get that tae. Seriously McGhee's record over the last decade is pretty woeful. Apart from that 1st season at Well he has been a disaster pretty much everywhere else.. Why is he still involved with out national side again? Link to comment
ZeroTolerance
Last time we scored 7 in the league at pittodrie.....7-0 vs Partick 92/93, Paatelienen scored 4???What a fucking signing. Link to comment
Scotty_Toronto
How many times is it possible to say "you know" in a 3 minute & 51 second post match interview? 31 if you are Mark "you know" McGhee Ever seen a Joey Ramone interview? Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
OK. Tin helmet on for this one. Firstly despite the avatar this isn't a Mcghee thing (nor is the avatar for that matter). The guy deserves everything he gets for making up the spitting story, never mind his so-called mind(less) games pre kick-offs. Its absolutely not a dig at whoever took the film either (if he's a hatter, otherwise don't care). No, point is Mcghee is there (the stand) trying to do his job. Very very badly as it happens, and he then gets somebody sticking a camera-phone in his face. I don't have a techie background but I understand there's also audio supporting it that goads him a little too? There's a background as well regarding the two light sending offs (one was, one wasn't in my opinion) that Motherwell have had which I would guess he is trying to correlate with the Taylor challenge that has potentially cost him his job. He's bound to be a tad frustrated no? Its the same principle with cameras running onto the field at the end of a game, singling out a player (hopefully one that's responsible for a defeat or missed a sitter or something) and then hoping for a reaction live on camera. Particularly when you get classic mock offence then shown at said reaction. (No offence here to be fair, just mocking hilarity) I'm no lover of the modern selfie age anyway and this to me is the same sort of thing. That said, the taker of the video could have been sitting in a section next to, but not in the designated 'sent-off-managers' section and filmed to his heart's content and Mcghee would have had no defence. It just sits a little uneasily with me. Still, bloody funny when its not your manager like! 1 2 Link to comment
slinkyvagabond
Your right but there is obviously ill feeling towards him stemming from his time as manager. In saying that there was no need to be calling him a fuckin clown even if he is. Link to comment

The boy wasn't in his face, he was quite a distance away. There are at least two tv cameras on him already. McGhee is an arrogant, petulant cock that should know better by now. I've no doubt he'd back his mate but if Strachan were any type of true leader/manager he'd get rid of McGhee for the following reasons 1. He's a massive bell end2. He's a shite manager3. It's not clear from the pictures where McGhee was being escorted to. Next to the amateur film maker or simply past him. Slightly more sympathy if it's the latter. Link to comment

The Lighthouse
By all accounts it could very easily have been into double figures last night, but let`s not get greedy.... As for the line up against Killie, I still think we need to find a berth for Shinnie. Possibly LB where he excelled for ICT. I see why some people don`t want to drop anyone after that performance but as has already been said, we are playing a different team on a different pitch. McInnes may decide to change the team for those reasons anyway. I also agree with whoever pointed out that Taylor was abysmal against Celtic in the last match at Parkhead so if he is dropped and Consi is moved to CH to allow Shinnie to fit in the team I would be happy with that solution.
