fine-n-dandy
Surprised Millertime chose to tell us his grandpa's brother was a kiddie fiddler!Well of she'd 'fallen' for BOTH brothers by 14, the first of which already being 'her long lost love' at 14 then I guess it wasn't just the great uncle. Rules in Lithuania may have been different back then but pretty sure 14 was still a no no in Scotland even then. Guess it's not the kind of subject you can comfortably seek clarification & just come out & ask yer gran about once you're past the age of about 7 & can no longer soften the question by impressing her with your mathematics Link to comment
maryhilldon
Anyway, i think Millertime is very brave to talk about coming from a long line of thieving, child molesting Lithuanian peasants. Heartbreaking! 1 Link to comment

Dave Bus
Should be offering a low wage commons a contract should he prove his fitness, he'll be wanting a chance to get back playing football and we could do with a back up attacking option Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
If we sold McLean (down south) then Commons would be an ok replacement He could also turn out another journey man pro wage thief 2 Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Commons as he is now wouldn't add anything. If anything he would just be a distraction. We've got younger and hungrier players in the positions he can play. Link to comment
G31DON
Aye 25 year old McLean with circa 100 games in 2 years to get replaced by 34 year old with 6 starts in 2 years. JW (Jesus Wept) Link to comment
Tord31
even if we sold McLean i'd not be sure an attacking midfield/forward is the highest priority Link to comment
Shinniesta
even if we sold McLean i'd not be sure an attacking midfield/forward is the highest priorityI think it would definitely be a priority especially as McInnes favours 4-2-3-1. We have a lot of options at centre forward but not that many in attacking midfield. We currently have Stewart, Christie, Wright, GMS, McLean and at a push Stevie May that could play in the 3 behind the lone striker. If McLean leaves and isn't replaced with a player of a similar ilk and McInnes decides that when we play Celtic he wants to play a mobile striker like May on his own up top it would leave us with very little options in the 3 behind the striker in his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation with Christie ineligible against them. When we play Celtic McLean is the ideal man to step in as the number 10. McLean is very important for us as he covers both the attacking and defensive midfield roles very well. He should definitely not be sold especially for the type of small fee that the huns apparently want to pay for him. If he helps us to second place in the league again and a cup final then IMO getting no fee for him will have been worth it. Link to comment
shooftahmooftah
If the council doesn't give the go ahead for the new stadium at kings ford Do you think Mcinnes and most of his signings will want to stay at a run down pittodrie. I didn't hear any of the blue haired protesters from west hill and surrounding areas protesting when the oil company's dug up the land round about them for their super offices etc. 6 2 Link to comment
