Seen plenty of folk say he was due to retire in January but Roos being injured scuppered that

Surely on his way, unless he is now 3rd choice, Doohan as back up and Ritchie away on loan again. 

Ritchie needs game time and sitting being 3rd choice is no use to him.

Thats a bit hard to believe but apparently he has flown back early which would seem unnecessary if he was retiring

If Joe is indeed away then we will need to keep Ritchie as need to register 3 keepers for Europe, unless we just register one of the kids.

Cleared his locker oot today. Good luck to him been a great servant. As been said already was best keeper in the league for a good few years, probably our best since Kjaer or Leighton

He went downhill towards the end but at his peak was the best goalkeeper we've had in a long long time. Hope his next move works out well for him, whatever it is.

At his peak, one of the best goalkeepers I've seen at Pittodrie in my lifetime. I'll remember that instead of his decline in the last few seasons. Would like to see him return to form at a Championship club or the like. All the best Joe.

He was magic for the majority and he goes with everyone's best for him. A good time to go.

First time I’ve felt a bit sad about a player leaving. A great professional and I’ve of the best keepers we have had, at his peak he was tremendous. A good guy too. Really wish him all the best.

In his first three years or so, he was the best keeper in the league.  
A brilliant free transfer signing. 

Yes, it tailed off & it’s best for him, his family & the club that he moves on.

Always seemed like a decent bloke.

Good luck to him in whatever he’s doing next.
