Tyzo_1903
Guarantee you Brown/Griffiths/Armstrong/Teirney pull out with an "injury", too many champions leagues games for them to risk injury. Good for Shinnie and Christie getting in and well deserved. A potential centre midfield 3 of Jack, McLean and McGinn screams light weight in the SPL never mind in international football. Who even picked that squad? Hope Jack gets booed. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
No injuries for Shinnie & Christie PLEASE Link to comment
Parklife
In. Looking forward to this. Good to see so many new faces in the squad, some more deserving than others! Link to comment
BWG
Ryan Jack... fucking hell. Out just on the basis of that. Link to comment

robbojunior
Apart from the totally unmerited jack call up, can't see how anyone could complain about that squad. Lots of new faces getting a chance. No bannan, Hanley, martin, s fletcher, etc etc. Link to comment

aberdeen1970
Good to see more home based players in there. Only a friendly mind but a good start. Hopefully Shinnie gets on the pitch at some point for his first cap. Although I could see a scenario where Jack and Christie get minutes instead of him to pander to Celtic and Rangers. strachanmcgheegoal
Now why would he do that when the home aberdeen support are correctly disillusioned with the national team, dismayed at the laughable inclusion of Jack, suspicious of a Milne sellout and otherwise indifferent to the whole charade. Oh. I see. (But congrats Graeme. Well deserved) Link to comment

V for Vendetta
Ryan Jack? What a joke he's in that squad at this point. Even at his highest point with us he was rarely in the squads if at all. Plays a handful of games, is in shite form, constantly getting carded for being a petulant we shitebag and suddenly he's in the squad? The agenda's are so see through. Link to comment

thedandydon
I’ve derided the fact that Dons players are constantly overlooked when it comes to Internationals so can’t really be upset about the fact 3 have been called up. Undoubtedly the fact it’s being played at Pittodrie has something to do with it but I’m sure the players are delighted and hopefully they get a chance to prove they belong at that level. Good to see some of Strachan’s deadwood have been overlooked this time, although still some headscratchers in there. Watched Mulgrew at the weekend, did ok but can’t escape the fact this was League 1 football and the standard is pretty dire mostly. Link to comment

TheRock
A few folk have said and did say before the squad was announced that some Aberdeen players would feature due to the fact the game is to be played at Pittodrie. What's the thinking there? They'll play better since it's a 'home' game? Save the SFA a few quid on hotel rooms? Just not really sure why it would come into the manager's thinking. Pretty decent chance that Shinnie, Kenny and Christie would be in this squad if the game was at Hampden, wouldn't there? Link to comment
Reed or deed
Hold on, I'm just away to phone Malky and ask him. Link to comment
Ke1t
One Tim, One almost certain Hun, and a guy that's been deliberately overlooked because he plays in a red shirt. Quite the bone Aberdonians are being thrown here. I also notice Mulgrew's in the squad again, so presumably Shinnie will get a few minutes near the end if he's incredibly lucky, or if Mulgrew trips and breaks his neck. 1 Link to comment
