New Stadium Approved

If it does, then they would be as well redeveloping Pittodrie, as the reasons that they can't afford it would then be moot points.

Excellent correct use of moot.....

The hat monthly shouts:

Play Shinnie left back

We didn't replace Flood

Redevelop Pittodrie

Sevco are about to die

That's OLD HAT (MT™) pun intended........new hat is more like

Shinnie needs to play left back

Robson never got replaced

Pittodrie should be redeveloped

The Huns are close to dying.....again

Completely different

A mortgage

Naming rights

Additional revenue

Sale of current Pittodrie site

(same way as any other new stadium is funded)

You can add the imminent sale of McKenna and future sale of Lewis Ferguson to your list of funding towards this project.

If McKenna goes for somewhere near what the club seem to think he is worth (which is probably somewhere around £6m or £7m with add ons) then McInnes will be lucky to see around £1m of that to replace him and the rest will go on the stadium project.

I'd imagine the club also see Ferguson as one who could potentially be sold to an English club for a relatively high fee in a couple of years time of he keeps performing the way he has so far. That money would surely go towards the stadium too.

Don't forget your hilarious pre game quip about how this will be the game where we click/top performance and outclass the opposition etc. Then finish it up with something like '1-0. GMS penalty 89th minute.'
