aberdeen1970
He's a very good player. He's comfortable with the ball at his feet. He wouldn't make my starting 11 though in any position if everyone is fit. Good squad player to have though. When fit himself. Link to comment
1903Fitba
If he wasn’t so injury prone he wouldn’t be anywhere near us. Link to comment

DelMonte
In a back 4 or a back 3? I could find a place for him in a back 34 probably. All pointless now. Won't see him in an Aberdeen strip again. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
4 probably. All pointless now. Won't see him in an Aberdeen strip again.Doesn't look like it. Link to comment
Tord31
Cruciate presumably, going by the level of pain. What a signing he'll be for a team next season if he stays fit. I can certainly see him staying in Scotland with the likes of St Johnstone etc Link to comment
Tord31
He's now utterly worthloss. Many teams will be delighted to take a punt on him sub £1k/week. Even Reynolds will be in a better position this summer. Hoban = Storie. Hence the tears Link to comment
Zander1903
Shame for the guy as he seems to look good when does get to play Link to comment
Tord31
fucking pathetic if he's not done a 'Stevie May' aye*. *he's done it before so presumably he knew.... year out... loan terminated....fucked Link to comment
NEM
He's a very good player.Yip. Would be nowhere near us if he wasn’t injury prone, he’s a class act. Hopefully not out for long but looked like a season ender today Link to comment

Andy_123
Turned out to be a terrible signing. What a waste of a wage!Depends how much of a contribution we were making. He was clearly a good player, if we could have a got a half decent run of games out of him he would have been worth the risk. In the end we didn’t, but it’s easy to say now it wasn’t knowing how it planned out. Hopefully serves as a warning to McInnes about filling the team with cripples. Hoban must have only managed about 5/6 games? Devlin has missed a lot of games, May isn’t what he once was, we’ve got McKenna and his dodgy hammy and Reynolds as well if he stays. Link to comment
muttonhumper
Was actually quite painful to watch. Poor bastard. Link to comment
Reed or deed
Should have signed for Hearts. Along side Berra, all he would have had to do was read papers. This would have saved his condition easily. Link to comment
Don Fonte
How can it happen so often to the one person, it's bizareeBecause he's got weak ligaments. Weak. Pathetic. Link to comment
King Street Loon
You can actually hear your ligaments pop when it happens.Did mine when i was 17 at the old Lads Club pitches when my studs got stuck in the grass. Turned to go for the ball 'POP'Fucking agony. Didn't cry though. Screamed a bit instead. Link to comment
Ten Caat
The pain when you snap a cruciate is described as being like getting shot in the knee. And a repaired cruciate is never as robust as an undamaged one. Even as late as the mid eighties a ruptured cruciate was considered a career ending injury. Better surgical techniques developed in the US now mean that this is no longer the case but as I said....it isn't as strong as an uninjured one and so the risk of reoccurrence is consequently higher.
