Suprised the lad Dangana got on our bench at Perth last week, doesn't look anywhere near the required level.

 

Only player who looked half decent for me was no 4, Chessor (Jack, is it?) The rest looked more like our U18 team.

Would have throught we'd have given the likes of Deano, Anderson, Forrester, Glesson 45 mins or so each?

Mental. Dangana showed some good moments yesterday. Will feel he should have bagged a goal but he's been good this season for the reserves and deserved his call into the matchday squad. Morgan Brown was our best player and Jack Mackenzie did well too. He's come on so far in the last 12-18 months.

 

A few of the lads, including Chesser IMO, weren't at the races but you don't really expect (or need) our development squad minus most of their best players (Anderson, Campbell, Mclennan, Roscoe, Seb Ross, Antoniazzi, Harrington) to dominate against a Killie side with 3 or 4 players who have literally hundreds of first team appearances. Will have done the lads today a world of good. 

 

There was never going to be any of the first team players involved a day before a first team match. Jesus Christ.

I’m firmly in the 1st team is everything camp obvs but I wonder if pulling the Hivs game foreword acted against us for this game. I could understand the names you mention getting 45mins on a Monday to then be on the bench for a Wednesday fixture but not the day before ffs.

Couldn't easily play any of the fringe guys.

 

However... Betty might still have a point I think, at times earlier this season we haven't really used the Reserve games to give fringe players some game time.

 

Guys like Forrester, May, Cosgrove, Ball who have been in and out of the starting line up should be getting a bit of time in the reserve team IMO
