The OP didn't say anything about whether it was under old or new boss but the fact is that yes they have lost 5 league games in a row. Hopefully 6 on Sunday.

I have seen a lot better Aberdeen teams play a lot worse Hearts teams at Tynecastle and still get absolutely schooled.

 

Sunday will be no different.

Their current side is far superior to the one in the season where they got relegated after copping a points deduction at the start  (hilariously joined by their city rivals). Although that side IIRC finished the season unbeaten against us and walloped us at Pittodrie.

I saw us play a Hearts team when their star player was Jamie Hamill. This current Hearts team have a lot better players, they just have zero confidence. So the morale boosting visit of Aberdeen is a welcome sight for all associated with Hearts.

I am unfortunately old enough to have seen a worse hearts team, the teams that got relegated a few years ago as well as the teams in the 70s and early 80s were a lot worse than the current mob.
