Maybe if Hearts and Hibs ever actually get their shit together their might be pressure on McInnes but for the forseeable he'll keep his team consistent but boring and let the edinburgh clubs continue to flap about i their own piss and shit as they have been for years now. The Stoke job seems like the last couple of situations he was offered or actually a part of down there. Stoke's finances appear to be fucked, they're sitting dead last in the Championship, and if they get relegated then they enter 'beyond fucked' territory right quick. They need someone with the motivational skills and brass nuts to get them out of relegation trouble. McInnes wouldn't be the first name on my list if I were drawing up a shortlist of managers with those two particular skillsets. Link to comment
