Fot not trusting a word that comes from Aberdeen City Council? The stadium will NEVER be built at the beach and the sooner people realise this and move on the better. Link to comment

Yorston Vasey
We're not thinking this through properly. How much would it cost Cormack to take over St Johnstone, let's say £10m to buy the club. Let's say £15m to move their whole stadium brick by brick up the A90. They've already got some red seats so we can keep them and sell the blue & yellow on eBay (Mansfield Town might buy the job lot, Everton also for their new ground). Let's say £10m to fill in all four corners (remember we've got all the leftover unbroken red seats from Pittodrie plus the additional McDairmid ones) to take the capacity up a bit. Let's say £1m for a big fancy scoreboard and a statue of David Rowson as well. Job done at half the price that Cormack is quoting. Link to comment

aberdeen1970
We should stay at Pittodrie and develop stand by stand when we can afford it. The plans for reduced capacity should enable us to have sufficient footprint at the current site? 1 Link to comment

aberdeen1970
Leave the south stand and Richard Donald as they are just now and build new main and merkland stands which join together. Eventually extend this to the south stand filling in the corner between merkland and south. I'm not hung up about a symmetrical stadium all the way around. That's just vanity. Link to comment

Probably the worst experience Ive had in the world to view a game and Ive been to a shit load of stadiums. I don't mind it. Though I generally get a season ticket in the south. You get an entire view of the pitch so it's good from a tactical perspective. But I agree it feels disconnected from the atmosphere Link to comment

RUL
In terms of the cost, the club is really going to push the eco side of a new stadium, they think they can get millions in grants by doing this. Link to comment
