Yeah much as I would love Vinnie to reach his potential with us I doubt he’s going to fit Thelin’s style.

Love to see him making it with us with a manager but from what we read about Thelin if he is the man, he wants players who will bust a gut back and forth as well as the pressing counter attacking and that doesn't sound like Vinnie.

The diving, throwing his arms up in the air when he doesn't get free-kicks and unwillingness to press with any intensity or track back have probably cost him his Aberdeen career. 

It's a shame because he's technically good enough to be a 10-15 goal a season player in Scottish football. Suspect we'll try to recoup as much money as we can from Emmen as part of a permanent deal.
