I genuinely think there's a player in there, he had a horrible last year with Hamburg, came to us without much of a pre season, started to settle then had a wee injury, imo he's no where near as bad as some make out but I do think it's for the best that he's moved on, especially when such a good fee is on the table.

I don't think he's untalented, but I do think he can be a bit clumsy and his concentration seems to drift too often for my liking.  Also prone to giving away stupid needless penalties.

Out: Ramsay, Considine, Devlin, Gallagher, Bates

In: Richardson, Scales, Stewart, Coulson

 

It felt like we were light last year with Ojo, Brown, Hayes and McCrorie picking up loads of minutes in defence

A player that makes the same basic errors every week and cannot keep his hands off the opposition doesn't equate to a "a player in there" in my books.

Wish him well but I'd grab the money and run.

I doubt we got away with not paying off Gallagher. Expensive mistake that one, but at least he's off the premises.

Lots of players have gone to clubs and it hasn't worked out,and many times certain managers don't fancy certain players,that's the way it is.

Bates confidence must be low when a manager turns his back on him in training.

He's definitely not shite,or he wouldn't have been at Hamburg,and Legia are decent sized club as well.

Just Watkins and Ramirez left from last summer's rebuild and they aren't exactly in Goodwin's plans.
