Bournemouth Gee
I always enjoy a twat. Perhaps not the type of game for him on Saturday. But if he can perform against Motherwell then huge cause for optimism. Will need the players around him to perform as well though. Motherwell really are an awful footballing side Link to comment

The same poster I was replying to for his ludicrous pre match rant about signing Clarkson then treated us to a long post in a different thread post match that we should be building our team around him . So what was your point exactly? If you don't understand it already, you'll never appreciate it. I won't waste my time. Link to comment

muttonhumper
Are these good stats? They appear so, but not being a connoisseur of such data, not really in a position to judge. Oh hud on, the boy says "highly impressive". Ok. Coming away from your debut with a goal, a chance created, 92 touches and an 88 per cent pass success rate, winning 75 per cent of tackles and recovering the ball six times is highly impressive for a midfielder. Even more so for one who is just 20 and only joined the team the night before. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/leighton-clarkson-the-aberdeen-debutant-is-the-ideal-signing-and-billy-gilmour-comparison-3798893 Link to comment

If he continues with performances like that he is going to have a far bigger impact than James Maddison had and better career. Absolutely superb. Lol 60 minutes tells you that? ? Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Big test for him and all the new players this weekend against the Motherwell hammer throwers. He's going to have to stand up to a fair amount of rough treatment. Hopefully the capitulations against this lot as soon as they start getting nasty that we saw last season are a thing of the past. Joe pike
Obviously a good player but the reason he didn’t get a game at Blackburn was because he was too weak. Still looks like a little schoolboy against cloggers like Motherwell. Link to comment

For the umpteenth time, Motherwell didn't "clog" us yesterday, they played us off the park So what you're saying makes no sense Link to comment

They bullied us. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
A lot of our ‘majority’ possession was our usual pishy triangular ball retention between mid/def & keeper then the predictable attempted pass to either wing. Link to comment
starryfish
Apparently went off with cramp yesterday so should be fine for Perth Link to comment

I'd play McCrorie alongside Ramadani with Clarkson a bitty further forward. Hayes on one side, Besuijen on the other. Link to comment
Dave Bus
Think he works really well in our team in that advanced central midfield role. Got an eye for a pass over the top which works perfectly in our team with Duk and Miovski liking to play on the shoulder. Great strike to hit the post today. Just sometimes need a bit more from him - todays game bypassed him in large parts, he just needs to try get on the ball more because when he does he can do things. Link to comment

Aye Clarkson looked like cramp so he should make it. Duk would be more of a doubt. Need to get a centre back in over the next couple of days Link to comment

He was running back defending on the wing and he looked like he pulled a muscle. Thought he was done then tbh. Link to comment
