AFC Chat Awards 2022

A big welcome to all for the official thread for the 2022 AFC Chat Awards. I've put my hand up and decided to try and corral this viper's nest of delinquents, serpents and reprobates into submitting their votes for this year's annual festive announcement of award winners. 
 

I'll set out the awards categories below but I'm going to take it down a different direction this year and stipulate that votes are only counted by submitting them to me via a private message. We can then at least have a little bit of suspense as to the winners. 
 

This thread is for everybody to make their comments, remind us all of certain posts, certain arguments and generally just degenerate into the usual arguing and going off-topic. That's what makes it the Hat though. 
 

Voting will close at the moment the winning captain lifts the World Cup on 18 December. I'll then announce the winners the following day, maybe even that evening if I can be fucked.
