Hi all, and season's greetings. 

What do you have on your 2022 Christmas dinner? For me it is...

Starter: Scottish smoked salmon on buttered brown bread

Main:

• Turkey
• Stuffing
• Roasties
• Yorkshire puddings
• Brussels sprouts
• Broccoli
• Carrots
• Sausages with bacon wrapped around them (pigs in blankets)

Dessert: White chocolate and raspberry cheesecake

 

How about you?

Starter: soup de jour 

Main: turkey with all the trimmings (nae yorkies -weird)

Pudding: STP

No starter (can't manage it at my age, anyway I'm having a pudding and that'll cost me 4 extra units of insulin anyway)

Main....Turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing, mashed tatties (never been keen on roasties), sprouts, carrots, gravy, bread sauce

Pudding....Xmas pudding, rum sauce

Starter -Prawn Cocktail

Main - Turkey, ham, kilted sausages, roasties, parsnips, carrots, sprouts, gravy, bread sauce.

Pudding - Trifle.

No booze til I sit down to my Prawn Cocktail. Couple glasses of red with meal, large port after, large whisky after that.

Nae starter

Turkey, roasties, dauphinoise tatties, pigs n blankets, sprouts, red cabbage, parsnips, neeps, yorkies and cranberry sauce

Cheese board

(bottle of port gets opened in the morning to help make the cranberry sauce, bottle empty before sitting down for dinner - ensures it all tastes great)

Bottle of very nice red (Valpolicella) while I do the cooking.

Bucks fizz for breakfast.

Prawn Cocktail for starter.

Ham / Turkey Crown / Rib Roast selection.

Roast Tatties, honey parsnips, carrots, mealie, Brussels in cream with chestnuts, pigs in blankets and Gravy.

Ice cream cake from Auntie Betties.

Later if we can still move - cheese and port with coffee.

All washed down throughout the day with wine or whatever. Got 16 coming and I don't expect to do any clearing up 👍

Tennants, cocaine and Tramadol.

Main: Pork Crackling joint, gammon, roast tatties, mashed tatties, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, yorkies, carrots, sprouts n bacon, yorkies, sage n onion stuffing balls, sausage meat stuffing, gravy

Pudding: Chocolate gateaux and vanilla cheesecake (bit of both ken), with some double cream

Cheese and crackers in the early evening ken. 

Various crisps, dips and sweeties out throughout the day. 

Beers, gins and baileys throughout the day. Southern comfort later on.
