Yorston Vasey
£18 a ticket, I suppose that's better than the £22 price that was being suggested a few days ago but bloody hell... it's a cow field with portaloos and a garden shed for a pie stall. Link to comment

Guest milne_afc
£20/sqm? Sounds like a repair bill rather than resurfacing. It’ll be a shithole. Link to comment

Dons79
The ground/stadia is shit, the playing surface is like a bowling green, big units playing lump football, easy win Link to comment

englishred
Would like to see a blend of first team and bench players for this one, Lewis in goal and milne at CB maybe Harvey up top. Should have enough in the tank for these if we turn up with a good attitude. Link to comment

Totally agree with you but i think playing your second goalkeeper in cup comps against lower opposition is a good thing as it gives them minutes that could be vital should he need to play in place of Roos. I suppose there's also an argument that if one or two "bench" players aren't good enough to play against non-league teams then should they be at Aberdeen? again potentially they might need to start if we get injures. I'm definitely not suggesting we make massive changes just 2-3 Link to comment
Zeus
It's a cup game. We play our strongest team. Mind Raith ffs. Link to comment

They’ll be pushing for promotion into SPFL in the not too distant future. Certainly no worse than Annan who we took our time to get past, probably better. Strongest XI to start. Link to comment

Cant speak for all the earthworks taking place around the pitch just now, but they’re desperate to play at home. pitch is great though, albeit smaller pitch than we’re used to. Link to comment
Ten Caat
I could probably accept giving Lewis a run out in this match. But apart from him, I'd want our best available side to start. As has been said, Darvel have big plans and will be viewing this tie as a chance to really cause us a lot of embarrassment. If we go 3 goals up then we can maybe start to think about giving a couple of fringe players a run out. Link to comment

aberdeen1970
Some folk never learn. We'll be playing our first team for sure. And quite right too. Link to comment
Dal Riata Don
Is this a 'must win' yet to ensure Goodwin's status? They all seem to be these days! We seem to play better in the first half of games so I'd like to see our strongest first 11 (with Polvara) start. If we've made enough headway by the hour mark - get some of the youngsters on.
