Slobodan Rubežić

To be honest it sounds like they're suggesting Spurs sent a scout to take in a few games up here and Ruby has impressed in one of those games. Doesn't mean a bid is coming in.

It’s a nothing story but thought it was worth posting it. But as I’ve said before he’s developing well. We may have a very good CB come the end of the season.

Spurs head scout impressed with our Ruby allegedly…

I have to say while he looked terrible in his opening handful of games he’s came on leaps and bounds. We could have a real quality player by end of season.

I heard it was his bowling ball style take down of 2 hibs players that reinforced his talent.

No chance the spurs scouts were there to see Rubi (decent story though if it helps fool other clubs that he’s worth a look) far more likely they were there to see Miovski & possibly even Duk/Clarkson (there were rumours he like Clarkson when at celtic) & possibly a couple of Hibs players also.

More chance watching Rubi than your other shouts.

Massively harsh on him tonight. He was a bit rash at their first goal. But was a complete warrior through the game and saved us way more than he cost us.

The improvement in him since the start of the season has been huge

He was good for most of the game. I think he will be a great player for us when he gets more experience.
It was the missed interception and he switched off not following Taison into the box after losing him which cost us the first goal. Defending like that for 97 mins is tough though.

We have a real player developing here. Absolutely crucial to anything we do this season.

For 80% of a game he just deals with everything, it's a shame that the 20% where he fails, it always somehow costs us.  He's young and clearly progressing though, will do great for us.

He's still only 23 and there's plenty of potential there for him to develop into a great defender for us. He's got the heart of a lion and if he learns to cut out the occasional rash challenge and improve on his positional awareness he'll be immense.

Pretty much change his entire game and he’ll be Maldini, excellent stuff.

The only benefit I’m giving him for his rashness is it must be Robson’s tactic to allow him to try to win the ball out of position, happens far too often every game for it be him over committing.

His wanton disregard for the safety of his head is superb

Absolutely flew at someone literally head first, mid air

Crazy bastard

What? He seems to be costing us an incredible amount of goals from his errors. Schoolboy not tracking the runner for the first.

Correct. Not understanding why he’s being cut so much slack by some. Was quite lucky he didn’t score an OG last night too when he hit our post trying to block that cross.

He’s very slow, he switches off, he’s incredibly reckless and somehow doesn’t seem to offer much of an attacking threat at set pieces either tbh.

We should be doing better for the amount of money we’ve been spending
