Mind seeing the two of them in Safeway on King Street executing a shopping list which apparently consisted of the following items. 1. Marlboro reds 2. Red wine. list ends. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Regulars in the Ambassador snooker club as well. Link to comment
TerryMcDermott
To put Kiriakov’s signing into chronological contest, we signed him a matter of weeks before a high flying Oasis would play much anticipated shows at Knebworth and Loch Lomond. Was at the latter. Mental. And I’d totally forgotten that he went on play for Airdrie and Raith after us. Link to comment

I'm not convinced I think Tzvetanov got a couple but Kiriakov didn't. Unless Transfermarkt is wrong like. Link to comment

muttonhumper
Signed them both after/during Euro '96. Possibly just before as I recall watching Bulgaria and knowing Kiriakov would be playing for us the coming season. He started v Spain, where Tsvetanov came on as sub, then Tsanko started v Romania and France. Link to comment
TheRock
Just checked his Wikipedia page. I have no memory of Kiriakov playing for Airdrie and Raith Rovers. Link to comment

The press effectively decided that it was solely that performance that drew Aberdeen towards signing him. To be fair he definitely had Gazza in his back pocket that night. Which may explain his injury issues. Gazza wasn’t light and with all the cocaine and Newcastle Brown a strain or pull was likely. Link to comment

Easily the most boring football ever played at Pittodrie. 1 Link to comment

RUL
Basically if a team is slow and wants to play long balls he’s excellent. Hopefully he finds a way, if it exists, to get some pace and then Cormack can sell him for some money. Link to comment
King Street Loon
Another solid night for big Slobbery Dan. Really benefiting from having Gartenmann and Jensen either side of him. Link to comment
Don_Corleone
He was pretty good last night - was slobbering all over their striker wherever he went. If he went out wide, Ruby was there, if he dropped short to the half way line, Ruby followed him, never gave the guy a second's peace. He's suited to defending against that type of striker - it's up against strikers with pace that he's going to struggle. Link to comment
Betty Swallicks
Played ok but perhaps suspect for the goal. Stopped or slow as fuck. Link to comment
