Social media rumours have been swirling around that Aberdeen are in for West Ham United starlet Thierry Nevers. The 21-year-old winger has previously had loan spells at Newport County and Bradford City but Record Sport has checked that one out and he isn't one who is on the Pittodrie radar.

Realistically we ain’t signing a couple of central defenders when we currently have 5 (if you include Jack Milne).

If Allan Campbell can’t get in a pish team like millwall we should at least be asking Luton the question if we could get him up here. 
Would be an outstanding signing but it’s never gonna happen.

Maybe he's not obsessed with a back 3 now....maybe the teams been training today with a back 4 🤔 Maybe Jensen played LB, maybe some players were told they could be leaving on loan some with a view to a permanent, or maybe that was yesterday 🤔

Gauld - Player of the year for them last year for the second year in a row. Has this year left on his contract as well on near 40k a week.

Not a chance in a month of Sundays that he wants to come back to the North East to play for us for 5k a week. Sounds like a man determined to get as far away from here as possible.

There was also something online saying he wanted to stay in Canada to get citizenship so he could play for the National team.  Not up to speed with Canadian football but would he really be getting 40k a week ???

His team play in the MLS (one of i think 3 Canadian teams in that league) , so not impossible .

The MLS publishes the salary list for every club. The latest MLS figures revealed he earned $2.265 million, which converts to £2.01 million in the MLS's annualised average guaranteed compensation.

That figure includes a player's base salary and all signing and guaranteed bonuses annualised over the term of the player's contract and any marketing bonus and agent's fees, but doesn’t include performance bonuses since there’s no guarantee players will hit those bonuses. 

So he will get over 40K a week and earn performance bonus payments on top of that.
