Hibernian 2 - 0 Aberdeen

Recommended Posts

We’ve now had 3 hits at Hibs this season. We got lucky in semi cos of Miovskis quality. Something we didn’t have today. Had Robson learned anything from previous games, or been less fkn stubborn & played a back 4 with two CH’s lying deep to completely eliminate Hibs main (if only) tactic then we could have won today.

I have highlighted that he has had a great season, which makes today’s misses even more surprising.

It happens, you simply can't expect him to score every week, today was disappointing especially because overall we actually played decent but more often than not we are going into game and playing a type of football that means we have to take the one chance we get whilst the defenders have to stem off countless chances against them.

Today was probably the first game this season where we could walk away and say "we deserved to win that" where as most games even where we've got a result we've walked away saying we were lucky to get that result.

Goals change games.

Hibs scored through our shiteness allowing them to then sit & counter which then makes us look better because we’re actively chasing game.

Same shitey excuses for & by Robson week in week out. We go behind then try to play to lil too late leading the the usual ‘unlucky’ excuses but we got what we deserved regardless of unlucky finishing. Only difference today was we tried to to ‘play’ earlier than usual because we went behind earlier.

It's unbelievable how many people praising today's performance don't realise this. If they hadn't scored their early goal, they and we wouldn't have played like that for the rest of the game.

Robson using the boxing match would have been stopped line is completely the wrong context too. They were literally winning you stupid cunt.

Yuuup. They didn’t ‘rope a dope’ us because they were winning from 18th minute

They just took piss out of us ‘that all you got?’ Fashion

Its easy to resort to insults with you, though. You were talking about an Aberdeen player just yesterday, you got his name so wrong I can only assume you were trying to translate it using the Cyrillic alphabet before  continuing to get his nationality completely wrong, yet you have the hard neck to call someone a "moronic imbecile."

Who was that then

We were the better team before they scored.

We’d already coughed up 3 or 4 chances by then.

Did anyone stay until the end? What like a reaction was there from the away end?

No we never, there was one. There was also an offside chance for Hibs that would have been disallowed. We definitely had warnings with the ball over the top, however.

We were still the better team. Don’t know why that annoys so many, Hibs were the better team when we beat them at Hampden. These things happen in football.

Unfortunately for Barry it doesn’t matter a fuck. His credit ran out about a month ago.

So over two games, Hibs have shown themselves to be the better team. Do they have better individual players? Don't think so.

So a better unit brought together quickly by a new manager.

We've a long way to go if we're hoping Robson is going to be able to bring this together consistently.

Save yourself the hassle of reading his semi-literate pish by blocking him.

"Im a bit surprised it wasn’t guntarman instead of Rubi last night. You would think being from Sweden he would of been more used to the conditions"

Your words, I believe.

Sweden/Denmark both Scandinavia and he would be better suited to the conditions than that haddie rubizic.

Hibs not the better side yesterday but got the goals.  Overall this season the results and performance are not there. No matter how much the happy clappers are trying to find positives to justify keeping things as they are and results will come. No wins but glorious failure in Europe, 3 wins in the league, one at Ibrox, we then fluke a cup final place, riding our luck big time in the Semi final. Seems like the European jolly’s and the cup final appearance are masking over the obvious for a good amount of our supporters, but alarmingly also the clueless FMB.

Just watched the highlights.

From them I can see that first half Hibs looked better than us, had better opportunities and we looked all over the shop defensively. Michael Stewart nailed it re that.

Second half we deemed to look better and created chances. Appreciate the highlights dont convey everything that happened in the game.

Didn't take any though. Though i don't think Sokler on Marshall was a foul.

Like you say though, it's another game and another defeat.

Just endured the highlights. Two shocking goals to concede. Convinced that their first was offside seeing the still and the pen should have been retaken for encroachment. Bottom line is that if you don’t defend properly and don’t take your chances a defeat is likely.

Their first was definately on side, VAR checked and confirmed.

As for the penalty the experienced Marshall knew the rules and kept his left foot on the line. Also VAR checked.

the foul on Marshall was always going to be given as you can't touch a keeper in the air like that.

They rode their luck but that was a well under strength Hibs team due to injury and suspension.

The still showed he was offside. As for the pen, it was encroachment I said, nothing to do with Marshall.

You do know what the rules are?

On Sportscene the line clearly showed Vente onside when Boyle played the ball across and backwards.

At the penatly Marshall clearly had his left foot on the line and no Hibs players foot was in the box as confirmed by VAR which was why it was checked at the time.

Player encroachment in the box is judged on any part of a player's body that is on the ground when the kick is taken. If any part of the foot is on the penalty area or arc line it is encroachment.

When did you pass your refs badge?

There was encroachment at pen. As for my offside claim, this looks off to me. No idea why the line is where it is.
