We look like coceding coz we have no height. Ball on the ground we are fine , but come crosses we are out struggling with so many small players. But it would help if we at least tried to close the wide player , we allow too many crosses into our box from out wide.

Another superb interview, post match

"We don't have a long-ball striker so we don't play like that"

"It's all about what we do, nobody else"

Like him and hope he hangs about

Seen that as a wee dig at Warnock. Probably reading too much into it but suspect Warnock didn't really use Leven as a coach

Bang on. Gartermann, get rid. We need two decent, regular centre halfs. Ruby I’d keep, McDonald can go.
McKenzie is improving and yet to peak.

Gartenmann is surely done at the club. There’s no reason to persevere with players who clearly aren’t what we need. He fits that bill all day.

That quote about not having a target man and wanting to play on the floor is so encouraging but so deflating too. Wasted so much time with this squad playing a brand of football that doesn’t suit them at all.

Shows how inept & thick Robson was.

Persisting with him for so long was idiocy & shitebaggery from an equally inept Board.

I reckon Ruby with a more cultured player next to him will be a good player for us. A bit like how both Diamond and Considine were decent partners for Ando but fucking catastrophic together.

The longer Ruby is out the team, the better he seems to become in some people’s eyes.

Are folk forgetting the liability he often was, diving in, conceding fouls & penalties, or charging about out of position, leaving a hole at the back?

I’m far from convinced by him.

Has a great attitude, hopefully whoever is new manager can coach him to be far more calm & less rash.

There’s always been a place for this type of player in this league. Bobo Balde and Marvin Andrews were both carthorses who were massive units who did well in this league. Granted that was two decades ago but the point is we need a class defender to marshal the defence which we don’t currently have.

I knew that Warnock wasn't going to succeed when he abandoned Leven's on the deck second half performance against Tims and went for the long ball approach against Huns.

I appreciate that a passing game is often beyond certain players, certainly some of ours, but that's what you get if you sign athletes and try to turn them into footballers instead of the other way round. Morris is a particular case in point.

Robson used to go on about the running ability of the team. We're supposed to be a football team not training for the Olympics.

At least Leven sees what should be the approach on the pitch and, hopefully, the new manager will be likewise and recruit football players to suit.

At last a manager who can see what we've all seen all season. Not saying he's anything great, but just identifying that basic fact puts him ahead of Robson and Warnock who persisted with long, direct football when we don't have the players for it.

I think we'd be as well giving Leven the job until the end of the season now - he can clearly get the players playing in a style that suits them and which they actually like. Changing things yet again is only going to have a negative effect. We're clearly nowhere near ready to appoint a new manager anyway, so better to take a bit more time and get the right one than just bring in Neil Lennon right now because he's the only one who wants the gig.

Aye, well done yesterday but he’s exposed himself as a bit of a coaster/waster if he didn’t want the pressure of taking the first team before Warnock was appointed. Should be looking to rid ourselves of another festering hun ASAP.

Top posting Milnzo.

He's a fat hun cunt.

It begs the question, was Leven making it known that the team should be playing the way he wants them to play due to a lack of target man and he was being ignored or did he just keep quiet and not tell his bosses the style was useless.

If he was that keen on it he would have done it against Dundee.

Well done for yesterday and same again for Ross County if he's still in charge but one comment in the media doesn't make a manager.

Don’t believe that was true. He publicly and very clearly stated he’d said he would help the club out in any way he could.
