It was an embarrassing listen this afternoon.  He manufactured an argument with the boy Rory Loy out of nothing.. and kept going on about it, trying to humiliate Loy..  you could almost hear the cringe from the others in the studio.  Used to think he was quite good but now trying to be controversial and edgy but actually coming across as a total bellend

He takes a fake offended "don't put words in my mouth" stance whilst putting words in other peoples' mouths and shouting over the top of them so they can't speak.

It is fucking cringeworthy and I actually feel a degree of pity for the other commentators having to deal with the childish nob.

He also has a habit of misusing words and phrases that makes him look a bit of a fool.  No where near as intelligent as he is trying to present himself to be.

Allan Preston is another one that’s embarrassing to listen to. Nearly every single week Shankland scores he asks Willie “Iz Doook still better than Shankland?” Hearing him crestfallen if we won the Scottish cup would be superb, however unlikely it is

The Motherwell manager was being interviewed today on RS, giving his view on the Dens Park surface. Quite an articulate chap, but when describing potential ‘conspiracy’ theories around the game being played today, he actual said ‘contingent’, which some what altered the point he was making. 
Sometimes best to realise language limitations and just stick to 2 syllables or less.
