K-9
is it just me or is it like watching the dons play... shonky defending at times and tragically woeful finishing... and much as I hate him for being a dirty hun why oh why isn't Boyd playing... Should have started 4-4-2 at home...Was saying that to Heppy on MSN. That was pathetic!! Link to comment

dj_bollocks
George Burley - what crack are you smoking....? The parallels between him and Calderwood are incredible 'pleased, very well, fantastic' not any words i would have used to descibe that performance... Link to comment
Bobby Connor
Radio Scotland just now. Willie Miller's expectation levels are far too high. Burley is doing a good job. The results will come. All is well. Stop moaning Willie. Link to comment
Dandyjam
who the hell was saying Iwelumo should get a call up a few weeks back? go on, own up. its not just the open goal that has been a shambles, its everything about him so far. comes too deep to get the ball, caught offside, cant pass, cant dribble. and its not even just him thats been sh*te. Naysmith, what a mare hes having. Only decent one out there has been Brown and to a slightly lesser extent, Fletcher. Scoring goals at a decent level so deserved his place in the squad. But we were crying out for Boyd to come in, needed a natural finisher on the pitch. Plus, was shocked Burley took off McFadden. Only player really capable of creating anything. Burley showing himself to be out of his depth at this level. Link to comment

Naysmith, what a mare hes having. Only decent one out there has been Brown and to a slightly lesser extent, Fletcher. just back in from the game - awful stuff. Iwelumo - what a miss?? murder. Cant agree with anything else you said about the game - when Iwelumo came on he won everythin in the air, shame Mcfadden wasnt there to get on the end of them. Burley is a twat. Naysmith had a good game, did everything well including setting up what should have been a goal. Fletcher had an absolute nightmare of a game - poor show and the crowd around me were giving him dogs abuse. Scott Brown was the best player on the park by a mile for me - a brilliant all-round midfield performance. Burley is a twat though. 1 up front against Norway at home- they played 4-4-2 FFS, especially playing McFadden as the 1up is utter nonsense. taking him off was even more bizarre when at least he would have had someone up with him. for once in my life I want both AFC's and Scotland's management team OUT.before its too late. archiemacdougal
Scott Brown became a Scotland player today. Won some fantastic tackles, especially near the end. Naysmith - slagged him off during the week, but played fine today. Still think we'll get to the play-offs, but beyond that who knows. Link to comment

Few things: ~ Why does Robson take corners, they were bloody pathetic. ~Chris Iwelumo, what a stinker of a miss, but everyone at my end of the ground thought the ref had signalled offside... ~Why the frigg was Boyd not put on???? Scotland manager George Burley defended substitute Chris Iwulemo following the striker's miss in the scoreless draw with Norway at Hampden. Iwulemo missed an open goal from close range as the Scots missed the chance to go five points clear of Norway in World Cup qualifying Group Nine. "He'd score 99 times out of 100 and unfortunately this was the one occasion that he didn't score," said Burley. "There's still everything to play for, but drawing makes it more difficult." Iwulemo and Steven Fletcher replaced James McFadden and James Morrison as Scotland chased a winning goal. Kris Boyd was also on the bench, but Burley elected not to use the Rangers forward. "We had changed it with the two strikers who were combining with each other, so I was pleased with the way the game was going second half," said Burley. "Kris Boyd has got to establish himself in the Rangers team, which he hasn't done. Chris Iwulemo came on because he's been playing regularly and has scored eight goals in six games for Wolves. "You're always looking for players to prove themselves and Boyd's not any different to anybody else in the squad." Burley was heartened by the second-half performance despite drawing a blank. "There were some outstanding displays, especially in the second half," Burley said. "We had some chances and played some really decent stuff going forward, but we couldn't manage to get that goal. "We needed to get that first goal and, if we had got that, I think we would have won the match." Thats got to be a frigging joke. Link to comment

Davie Provo is going on about what has the ref blown for beacause it cant be offside, even thoug h the ref hadnt blown, everyone really though thw ball was in the net. I am still gobsmacked now 3 hours later. I had to waitr this long to post because i am so frigged off, possibly more fiucked off than under Vogts. Taking off McGod after 60 minutes?????? Boyd not employed at all????? IwulDonkey put on rather than Boyd???????? 4-5-1 at home in a must win???????? Jesus frigg Link to comment
Tommy
Full time whistle i thought " ach that was dire" and i returned tonormality. So different from a Don's defeat. I'm moaning for days. Yes i'd like to see Scotland doing well but when the team is set outto avoid defeat as today's was as opposed to creating a gap betweenus and Norway i lost interest. Link to comment
Jocky Balboa
shows how bad scotland are when iwelumo is even near the squad let alone on the pitch. He's not even a Scot, he's Nigerian with a little Scots blood in him. It's really come to something when we're relying not just on English-born players like yesteryear, but Africans as well. Lower-league ones, too. Link to comment
