Stag Do

why go to the effort of a stag do to go karting and slate shooting?

 

never understood it myself.

It does seem to be the in thing to do these days, I suppose the logic is it is a part of the time where your not just drinking but then that never happens, maybe why there are so many broken bones from the stags I've been on.

 

But the same could be said for going away and just drinking the whole time, why can't that be done at the local?

 

I think the truth is that stag and hen trips have now become an Industry and now trips, etc are expected and are used as excuses for what in the past would have simply been a "lads" holiday but are now undertaken by those that are perhaps older and in relationships themselves so no longer holiday with groups of pals.
