I'm pro SNP and think Sturgeon has handled this horrendously. You don't have to back your party blindly as many do.

I agree people dont need to back a party blindly but I don't really think we can blame Sturgeon.

The SFA, SPFL and clubs run Scottish football. Collectively they've absolutely fucked this up, I'd argue that's where the lack of leadership has been in this situation.

They'd have been better calling of the games themselves and getting everything in order but isntead they thought they'd chance it and hope the government would let them carry on.

That's where the decisive action needed to come from, the government don't run football, they gave all parties a chance to show they'd get things in order and no significant action was really taken and then more players were found to be ignoring the rules..

The chances of fans getting into games this year are now very unlikely.

I'd be shocked if the game as a whole is still on.

The whole disgraceful,  odious, incompetent,  deceitful game needs a fucking wake up call,

Ive just about had enough of the whole fucking lot,

It's almost enough to make you want to delete your account and never come back.

I see all the outlets are reporting Celtic game at the weekend is definitely off.  In which case we’ve dodged that one (depleted as we were) for sure.

How have we dodged anything?

We’ll set up to defend and get humped regardless of what players we put out on the pitch.

Same. Way over the top here. Determined to use this opportunity to make an example of the players in order to try and increase compliance from Joe Public.

Its disappointing out arsehole players have put themselves and the club in this position though.

Her tone when dealing with her CMO and when talking about our players is disgustingly different

Exactly this. Calderwood's fuck up was worse than our idiots because she practically made the policy that she broke twice. Utter arrogance, "do as I say not as I do". I like Sturgeon on the whole but her typical 2 faced politician mentality is highlighted by this instance.

We'd have had a better chance without his favourites, large squad, many desperate to get a chance, would have had a way better chance of a result than the slip on shoe soul crew. We need blood guts and fight against the big teams, only way to try and bridge the gap, fight for everything, current team don't have it, set up to limit damage.

Maybe, I haven't really focused on the tone tbh, just thinking about the actions. She asked the CMO to resign which i'd say is more of a punishment than a bit of a public rant.

I think the problem for Sturgeon is she expected the football authorities to take control of the situation and they didn't so now she's left having to make more statements and threats again.

She should have stayed out of it, there will be thousands of people every day not following things to the letter, she had no need to get involved. Her real problem is the daily tv appearances, it's really not needed, we've had no deaths in ages and numbers are really low. Needs to step back and end the Nicola show.

Spot on. Why do we nerd a daily infection rate. Her ranting about our players but needing questioned about celtic was absolutely unbelievable. She's a cunt and that leitch is an absolute gobshite.

No she wouldn't as nobody asks where he is. Nobody cares. We've no deaths in weeks at hospital. There's no need for her show to continue.

I thought we were talking about daily press conference only. They should be scrapped.

Probably not a good idea to reduce communication at a time when guidance and regulations can change on a daily basis.

Many believe her daily press conferences help matters as opposed to Boris's "hide in a fridge" approach, which is certainly not appreciated down in Englandshire (check his current poll rating).

I am generally a supporter of the SNP but am critical of the late lockdown, the initial approach to care homes and the exam gradings fiasco.

However you will really have to get used to the effects of this very contagious virus. Normal life IS NOT going to return for quite a while and Nippy Sweetie's press conferences are essential to inform and warn the less bright members of society on what to do and what not to do.

She only asked her to resign after getting pressured into doing it

She was also nice as pie when speaking about her in the press conferences

Compare and contrast to the savagery afforded to our players

Absolutely right Millerman.  It's  'jobs for the girls'  in the SNP  these days.

Wise up, no one gives a shit Boris isn't appearing daily, he's busy running the Country. She shouldn't be allowed a daily political platform on national tv. It's gone beyond bizarre now, it was needed at the start, so not needed now. Daily scare story for the housebound.

Whats he actually doing that makes you think that fat prick is 'running the country'?  Come on now.

How many people do you know on Furlough?

They'd be out of work without it, Brexit end of year, thousands of migrants landing on our beaches, no terrorist attacks in Months, Worldwide pandemic, yeah sure he's doing fuck all and getting make up done for daily tv appearances on tax payer funded tv.

Yer bang on min. Her sheer disgust and reluctance when getting asking that first question by Chris McLaughlin was certainly not befitting for someone of her position but undeniably unsurprising.

Going over boring statistics that have not changed dramatically in over a fortnight and telling us yet again what we should and shouldn't do, without even a reference to Boli Bolingoli during the main part of her briefing, was shameful and just further highlights the sheer, prejudicial contempt she has for our club.

Savagery?

C'mon, pure hyperbole.
