looksgoodinred
The best experiments I ever had with food was when I had smoked far too much dope as young loon and got a dose of the munchies.....that's how to experiment. Or when you've not gone shopping yet, and you're down to a few staples and an assortment of odd bits in the fridge and pantry. Link to comment

daytripping
I've not eat a sweet in a long time, is that shortcrust pastry? I don't generally go for sweets and never have them at home but if pushed I'd go for sticky toffee pudding and cream (maybe once a year), I'm fat enough without eating sugary stuff. Link to comment

NPRC
The usual sticky toffee pudding is a date sponge with a toffee sauce (I tend to make a simple sauce with muscavado sugar, cream and butter). Link to comment

Cheers, tip for using a glass worked. Dipping sauce was soy + toasted sesame seed oil + (really) little bit of chilli. Tend to stick to the same base bit maybe change it a little add one or two things but end up going back to the base stuff, spring onions/ginger/garlic/sesame oil/pork. Link to comment
