At The Border Guy
Have been of work since i walked out. I have ignored every phone call, email and letter they have sent. I have until Thursday to respond. Suggestions? Easy. Get to the doctors ASAP, claim stress and get a sick line. Then you can either get back into their good books if they play nice (and possibly get some paid leave out of it!), or you can shove it up their arseholes if they try to sack you. Link to comment

In all fairness to the shower of cunts that they are, they have been fairly patient. It has been 2 weeks since i walked and they have phoned at least twice a day and emailed the same plus two letters. The last telling me i have until Thursday or my contract is terminated. I could make up a pile of shite that i just had to clear my head and fucked off for a while that's why i wasn't in contact with them. Will probably go back and make a meal out of it when i get there though. Don't want to go back but im totally skint... Link to comment

Something similar happened to one of my mates...had a blow out with his boss and stormed out...this was a Thursday...He went back on the Monday thinking the dust would have settled...no such luck...the poor fu*ker was made to attend a "Stress Management" course...even had to go to the company doctor to see if he was fit to return to work...If it's a fairly decent sized company you're with they probably have some sort of procedural pish they have to adhere to...you can blame Boof and his meddling mates for this...If it's a small company they may just be happy with a sit down clear the air type chat. They are the 4th biggest IT company in the world, and there are things that will be done when/if i go back. The only thing in my favour is the contract we are on has gone tits up big style and they are close to losing it. So without blowing my own trumpet, they need me back because since i walked one bloke has retired and one of the birds has gone on maternity leave. We were already two bodies short so i think i can go back on my own terms 1 Link to comment

bonzodaddy73
You're being an arse over this. Get back to work. I can see why you would think that Rocket but im not. The workload and stress being dished out is not right. The month before i walked i did 29 hours unpaid over time. Would you do that? Link to comment

bonzodaddy73
You fucking sucker. That's shocking. You need to come across better as a human though, let alone as an employee. Intelligence and maturity are the qualities that you are compromising here, although the modern parlance bullshit is "interpersonal skills". They've been raping you for a long time by the sounds of it but who's fault is that? Get it sorted and show some management potential whilst you're at it. Unfortunately my management potential went out the window with my lack of blonde hair and tits!I was quite happy to help them out as i knew they were struggling but enough was enough. Link to comment

bonzodaddy73
You have missed my point completely. No real surprise there given your account of this whole situation thus far. I'm giving you fucking good advice here. Deal with it like a man, an intelligent, worthy man. Get negotiating and conduct yourself with grace. I completely understand what your saying and can and will use my knowledge to sort this situation out for my benefit. Link to comment

Leaving a job is not a good thing to have above your head either, can't imagine the boss was a bitch holding too well as your next boss will likely be a cunt also. Link to comment
